Content Update 3.15.0 -- Path of Exile: Expedition
Congrats, you made your game even more boring and tedious. The nerfs aren't that bad, the old values of all these nerfs can still be achieved albeit with more time and energy investment. This wouldn't be that bad for a normal game, but with only 3 months per league this is absurd.
GGG needs to understand that most people play 1-2 hours every few days. PoE is a game, not a full time job. A game you play to relax, to unwind, to live out your fantasy. Games are not meant to be tedious and boring. They are meant to offer a sense of accomplishment. If you have to grind thousands of maps in the endgame for that - fine, but give is more time. Realistically, nobody plays standard because it's much more exciting to try out the new league mechanics. Most players never reach the end game and the challenges are insane. GGG expects us to spend 5-8 hours per day playing PoE. How disconnected from the real world can you get? I'm not asking for the game to be easier, I'm asking for more time. i am supporting the nerfs
So many nodes were useless because of how easy it was to get a crazy high dps. No more immunity? i've always been against this mechanism. Support gems more expensive? maybe mana nodes will find a use for more build. I am not part of the proud 1% who are finishing the game while one shooting everything and dodging most of the difficulty in return. |

Good. Just don't understand why you don't buff Purifying Flame when you nerfed 100% crit from it that is a huge nerf for unused skill, especially with all the other support gems nerf lol
Game should be about decisions and creativity not just steamroll over 2k monsters like flys without even using brain like most people do. Less monsters that are stronger is better. So overall good changes. More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience.

I'm alright with the nerfs in general, but some of these are really confusing and seemingly random?
Why are we putting a massive downside on a "Quality" bonus with Anomalous Area of Effect? Why are both Anomalous AND Divergent giving the same benefit now in different magnitudes and drawbacks? Swapping 20/20 normal to anomalous now gives you 10% increased AoE for 30% reduced damage??? (Loss of 10% from Q + 20% reduced) Hypothermia now works better for bleeds than cold spells? Outdated values from the wiki being used in the case of ballista totem. (caught and fixed) Don't even get me started on awakening gems. Awakened spell echo is lower DPS than normal spell echo. (54/-10 vs 59/-20 with a 15% for x2. 39% vs 37%) Awakened deadly ailments was originally posted with identical values to regular deadly ailments. While some of the new gems are cool, what about the dozens upon dozens of forgotten gems already in the game that haven't been viable for years? I'm glad GGG isn't afraid to make sweeping changes, but the quality control here is just... non existent. This doesn't fill me with much confidence for the league.
