Assassins mark gives you power charges, Cursed enemies have a 100% chance to grant a Power Charge when slain

yeah but only if you kill rare or unique enemies. i was wondering if it is possible to have maximum power charges all the time

Quality on assassin mark gives on hit charges.

Sorry i completly zoned out and missed the "Occultist" PoB button :)

For people trying to go Reap still during acts, and you're also wanting to run Occultist: don't. The QOL that you get from Elementalist is way too good. Occultist has absolutely nothing going for it on the early stages of the game.

True, occultist is a lategame option.

Hey, i am a bit confused here, where are we supposed to be getting power charges from other than killing rare/unique mobs. Manually going over and casting wave of conviction or getting hit and having tempest shield hit in hopes of getting a shock seems a bit clunky/unviable to me.

Yep its only on kill now with the cluster jewel changes, unfortunate but not a huge deal.

I would like to ask a perhaps stupid question about the Reap link if I may. Trying to incorporate your Reap link into a totally different build (aura stacker by Jix) and convert all the phys dmg to lightning dmg through support gem + watcher's eye and while doing research on how these things actually work and what links should I use for Reap in that build, ran into a statement on wiki that Converted damage does not apply to damage over time. Is this an error on the wiki since it references a very old source? Or is it because Reap's DOT is not actually a "bleed" as far as I understand, and thus it benefits from both dmg conversion AND critical strikes?
