Tired of waiting?... Play Hearthstone!

I genuinely don't understand the connection between these two things. What does the pace of the game have to do with randomness?

They aren't connected, hehe. What i wanted to say is that i enjoy the process over the result, say i'll play some deck that is interesting to play over some most-effective face-smasher (not that i have anything against super-aggro, or virtually any other archetype, or something being "meta" and broken - i'm just not that "competitive" to turn my free time into another job of grinding shit most effectively for that position in some temporary list, or a shitty card back, or a couple extra cards)

As for random on steroids, it can break that flow of the game and swing the win, let's say A and B have a couple cards in hand each, and that guy A has enough advantage to have lethal in a couple turns, then that guy B discovers say a deathwing he never had at the start and wipes the board, then wins the game. Topdecking some lucky shit is okay, it's not chess by any means; getting some extra shit with improved odds is an another story if you ask me.

Anyway, as Anton__Chigur said above, hearthstone get worse and worse over time, and while it definitely was better with enthusiasts like Brode & co around, now it looks just like an overbloated money cow ready for the milking.

it's important to mention that I haven't played this game in about 5 years. I have no idea what's changed since then, I was talking about my thoughts of why I quit 5 years ago or so.
For returning players, this game is worthwhile. I'm now in Gold(9) with a budget rush warrior, and not spending $$$. Doing quests and stuff for the gold. It's fairly relaxed for me, i can listen to my wife talk, have a bourbon on hand and still play, hahaha. Climbing the ladder for free. Not recommended for new players though.
Later POE!

If you can't control it, STOP.

Yea rush and aggro in general has always been a problem. Not going to go into detail because I am sure its been beaten to death but being flattened by someone who drops creatures on curve and goes face is not a good feeling. I love card games which allow me to just play cards like a madman. The Silent in Slay the Spire for example.

Anyone played and remembers Hex: Shards of Fate?^^ It even surpassed MtG (In my opinion), but unfortunately WoC and other problems forced the shutdown of the game :C

Hearthstone was interesting for a bit, but then not anymore. And while I regularly play MtG:Arena against Sparky (The way WoC went with MtG doesn't suit my style. Every colour can do everything now... Plus if you want cards, you either have to play against cheesy players or pay bucks, sooooo...) while sitting on the thunderpot, there just isn't any good CCG for Singleplayer and unfortunately it is completely unknown to me if we ever get something like Duel of the Planeswalkers 2014/2013 again.

Check out Eternal, it's an actually good F2P model and have a good single player mode.
