Earth to Charan

Sorry to hear that. Is it anything you care to talk about?

I got my second jab yesterday and the aftereffects were a lot less severe than the first time. My arm hurts though.

Trying Doki Doki Literature Club finally right now. I am a little sad it needs so many warnings. Sort of ruins the game but I suppose most people know by now this isn't what it seems.

I am really enjoying returning to Dark Age of Camelot too. The live server is pretty bad but there are a few free ones that preserve a lot of the old magic. I have missed the purity of pre WoW MMOs. OTOH since I did play so long ago some of it is familiar. Perhaps a completely new player would find the lack of quest driven handholding too much. I'm content to just wander around and kill stuff in a variety of fun ways. If I needed or wanted someone else's story I'd read a book.

Or play a visual novel. As I am now. This writing is really...really good.

Dude! I played Dark Age of Camelot with this guy who wanted to be my sidekick, but his name was Super Fairy Metrosexual Man and he had pink double dil[edited by me]o with rainbow sparkle super powers and I just couldn't be near that one.

While I like literature, I'm not that big of a nerd, yet. Maybe someday. Who knows. I much prefer cooking, myself.

By the way, I'm really not sure if I should congratulate you on your second job. It's sort of a paradox for me. So... :-/

I wonder how good Charan's chinese is or if he has some relatives down there to speak in that language.

Just wondering after browsing his Book on Amazon and reading his RL name.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

Well, it's most of my name. Close enough, at any rate. I thought it ill-advised to not write under a pen name given how...unpleasant some people on the internet have been towards me. :)

I'm half-Chinese. I speak a wee bit of Cantonese, but obviously a lot more Japanese. Much to my father's chagrin.

Only the first book is set exclusively in a mytho-historical Asian setting. Most of the second is more Euro-centric.

When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
