It's sad that STILL people whine to the MTX crew over something the Support and Development crew should be hearing about.
Keep up the good work, GGG! Keep up the great designs, MTX Team! Ignore the kiddies crying about anything else on a posting about these lovely new MTX pieces!

Y'all forgetting this is a F2P game, and only income source for GGG is MTX. I don't see anything wrong with this change...

It seems perfectly reasonable to me to have the usability cursors for free and the artistic ones for payment.
I consider the announcement has not make it clear enough. Perhaps they should have made two separate announcements, but it does not seem in bad faith.

Instead GGG gives us a "high contrast" cursor that is as hard to see as the default older one, and sell us slightly better cursors on a pack for 10 bucks. The problem still not actually solved but now GGG can monitize the problem solution. Nice one GGG.
This is Activision Blizzard level if not lower.
Also to go down to EA levels of scrutiny you guys could perhaps ban the use of 3rd party cursor programs. Or better yet, add stealth code/functions so that 3rd party tools such as Yolo mouse doesnt work with the game anymore. That would be next level play.
If you guys wanna milk more customers on MTX stuff i have a good solution.
ADD a preview mode so we could try MTX before we buy it.
Most players i know doesnt buy some mtx in store because they dont know if it will fit or combo well with their currently owned mtxes.
Also since your MTX costs are absurdly high it makes sense that you let players try it before they buy it right? No ? aw... ok

I remember old Races! where we can win alternate skins for free. That was small but good GGG. Now what we have? You can PAY for own league. Thats all. Now we get nothing from GGG for players like Races! And that good designers who created old alternate skins, now make only MTX for sell 4x per week ...
Old GGG what loved their players has changed to big company what like only money (like Activision, EA, Blizzard ... :( )
