The new mortal combat is so bad...
Frustrated too. All it was is just a giant fan service movie but with nothing to back it up. The fight scenes were…okay at best. A waste of time. I would better play my PSP games

I watched the new one and its indeed not spectacular has some good visuals and a few nice fights but lots of boring filler / talking head scenes.
The best part imo is the intro scene in Scorpions past , where the other scenes pale in comparison. Without Hiroyuki Sanada it would be a 2/5, with him it's a 3/5 imo even if he has very little screen time. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks Last edited by gandhar0 on Oct 15, 2021, 7:57:06 PM

I don't know it was significantly better than I expected. I guess why were you expecting anything more than fan service from a Mortal Kombat movie?

I enjoyed it more than the old ones not that that is saying much.

That's all true, but it's Mortal Kombat
