I'm still using lightning trap at level 67 and hving a pretty hard time killing ultimatums and generally low damage through acts till maps. Anyone else having low DMG?

lightning trap falls off late acts, clear should be fine but boss damage will be subpar. Keep in mind, at that level you're starting to slowly spec towards archmage so you're not getting anymore trap nodes.

is it worth buying 21/23 gems? bladeblast etc also is there any worth helmet enchant?

bladeblast no, archmage/ele focus/CD/Intensify yes

I respeced into BFBB with AM after Act 10, I had somewhere around 20-30c for the respec and to buy some really dirty gear just aiming for life/mana/resistances.

I don't have all of the gem link setups. My flasks are a hot mess. And the gear is pretty dirty.

The damage is great, the surviviblity is amazing and this is with all of the trash above - I'm looking forward to how it transitions when I actually have all of the build rocking.

I've maybe ran out ten maps so far no problems (my HP does dip a bit during ultimatums but I'm not too surprised considering the above). Thankfully I found Cassia in that time and was able to anoint Mind Drinker and as mentioned previously it's amazing.

I haven't allocated Agnostic yet and I'll wait until I feel a bit more comfortable with BFBB.

My gear currently looks like:



Two mana flasks? Where are the defensive flasks? So far for the first few tiers of white maps it doesn't seem to matter and I have more then enough breathing room to fix up my flasks and gear before I hit yellows.

I'm not too sure on the complaints I've been reading above. Perhaps people transitioned too early or didn't have anywhere near enough mana/resistances?

cloak of defiance 6l or 6l with life and resis?

hey in the pob notes you say arcane surge is worth getting 21/23. Does the quality benefit us since it says "Supported Skills deal 0.5% increased Spell Damage" and it is only supporting the arcane cloak?

your wrath for some reason is reserving mana, it should be IN essence wurm. that would be reducing your damage close to 80%

edit: or it's broken on PoB if you disable wrath your damage jumps up to like 367k per blade

The "new" Essence Worm is not yet implemented in POB.
The new one is:
Socketed Gems have no Reservation
The old one is:
Socketed Gems Reserve No Mana

Just edit this line in your POB until there is an POB update.
I was also struggling to get my wrath dps, you cant get it without edit this line.

Any idea how I could get more dmg out of my build besides lvling up my gems? Feel super tanky atm just abit lackluster dmg.

Edit: Saving up for a scepter atm, I know the vigi is not being used atm.

Ability use question sorry if I’ve missed an obvious FAQ or anything: is it always one cast of blade blast after blade fall? Also it seems if I trigger them too close together there aren’t any blades yet; will this improve with casting speed or should I always expect a small delay? Many thanks!
