The whole guide is just weirdly worded and a lot of things are not explained properly.

It says we should not have arcane cloak on lmb but then where the hell would you put it, unless you want to use ctrl also.

You have so many things to look after, BFBB, Sigil, Conductivity, Arcane cloak, General's cry or what ever fortify you have, the build is horribly clunky and really tedious to play, this is the least fun build i have played in my 1.4k hours in the game.

Farming enough currency to respec and get starting gear is hard to do when you have no dmg and survivability.

Imo the build is not worth the hassle and there are much easier and stronger builds around.

reroll to something easier then, obviously build is too complicated for you.

I am not going to reroll at this point, wasted too much time on it already.
I just don't see the point of it being this complicated for what it is.

It's a HCSSF build that abuses layers, same as champ hit based slams, necro dd etc. It's not meant to be a low APM build and people are having and have had massive success with it. It's not the build.

What numbers roughly do you want in the mana/ mana regen department before going the agnostic? Im currently at 6.3k mana with 288.3 regen in hideout. Also, I happened to get a cloak of defiance, would you use a 5l cloak of defiance over a tabula? Any thoughts on running clear mind in one of the jewel sockets?

i've brought up clear mind a few times, yes it's good just hard to get in hcssf. Cloak 5l is better than tab by a lot.

cool, thanks
Hi Chemist! Thanks for the guide! Loving the build so far.

I'm still learning and I have a question:

I was wondering why Thick Skin is still needed on the tree when the Avatar of the Veil ascendency makes us immune to elemental ailments?

Thanks!
Is checking the Blade Blast DPS when you hover over the skill a reliable way to tell if a new sceptre is an upgrade? Is it calculating the damage correctly for the build?
Probably I'll give up with this nerd build or maybe will take a look later. Just can't play that piano right even with some upgrades and 5+k mana pool I keep dying and can't do Ultimatum.

Just one note for OP: don't ever mention "2-button" in build description when I have to manage all my flasks and 1.5 panels of skills. Got baited, not enjoying.

its two button as in bladefall bladeblast, just like necro dd is a "two button build". This is a "nerd" game. Maybe try righteous fire if you can't manage 8 keybinds :) Also another "nerdy" thing you could try is reading being that I note the importance of anointing mind drinker which is bolded at the very -top- of the guide.

edit: fun fact, ultimatums are mainly avoidable damage

you should plug every upgrade into PoB
Hi Chemist, thanks for this guide. Raider is my favorite archetype (love that perma-phasing and high movespeed). I went Lightning Strike Raider in Ritual, so I'm excited to try a slightly different flavor this this league, although I haven't speced out of lightning trap yet.

I notice you get tons of questions from people asking about how each of the skill mechanics work and how bindings should work. Might make sense to add 1-2 paragraphs explaining (for noobs) how each skill should be used when clearing trash and when bossing, as well as your personal keybinds? Then you might get less repetitive questions. You might also consider explaining in the FAQ why the Vigil jewel can be placed where you have it in the POB endgame tree, since there seems to be a question about that every page.
