I found a recipe some days ago that allows you to fully link any item.

You need to trade
- 1 x Feather
- 1 item with max sockets that is not yet fully linked
- and 2 more ingredients (those are not currency items)
to the vendor.
The vendor will then give you back the fully linked item.

Good luck

Sounds plausible. Also sounds like a wild goose chase. Pic of the vendor would typically be shown.

- 1 x Feather
- 1 Rare item with max sockets that is not yet fully linked
- 1 Tabula Rasa
- 1 Exotic Fish

For six linking a unique item, you swap out the Tabula Rasa for an Angler's Plait.

Hmm... There must be some kind of unknown recipe for using an Albino Rhoa feather to get a 6-linked item otherwise the etiquette police would have locked this thread a long time ago as GGG doesn't like new posts to threads that are years old.

Since I just got one to drop a few days ago:

I might try and throw things at a vendor to see if I can get lucky and find a real recipe.

LOL... Right, put up screen shots of proof or shut up.

A recipe for which the feathers are used for does seem to exist. However, only a few players seem to know it and who knows for what it is used for. Many Alpha Players seem to confirm as much, if you dig enough in these forums and on reddit.

It makes no sense to add such a rare item to the game with no purpose but trolling. If that would be the case, they would drop more often.

Also Monsta said, that his unique had not been discovered yet (but seemingly it is implemented in the game for years). So that is that. His unique might be related to the recipe or not. However, once they reveal the use for feathers, prices for them will explode as well as for SOTS and Reefbane. I still need to pick up a Angler's Plait ring, but other than that I'm already prepared for the day it has been revealed.

Well there was a Bestiary League recipe involving the feather which allowed crafting white sockets on any item.
Wow....

This thread is still going. After all these years. It's like seeing an old friend.

If Monsta has a unique item that to date is still unknown then he needs to come up with a riddle or some kind of teaser to get us stated on the right path to uncovering the recipe or farming technique to get it and post a thread. Just knowing that there is another undiscovered unique isn't quite enough. It's like looking for a specific needle in a haystack of same size and shape needles or like looking for one piece of a 1 million piece jigsaw puzzle when the picture is of a polar bear in a snow storm. We've got nothing to start from.

Chris is the biggest GGG troll (like in one old podcast that we actually had live video he had strategically placed a fishing rod on a table behind him for all to see). But unless GGG wants to code in fishing and give up a real fishing rod drop such that we can use our Rhoa feathers in a vendor recipe to create a fly hook and then have various locations where we can fish for real, the Albino Rhoa feather just doesn't make any sense that it's in the game. If anything the White Rhoa would be on the endangered species list and protected against killing. Come on GGG, if there is a real feather recipe then give some clues or if not one then add one for patch 3.4.

What if it turns out that you aren't supposed to kill the rhoa, but do something else with it.
at the SF meet up, Mark refused to answer the fishing questions.
