This coulda been an interesting topic.
Ït's a shame that what started as an attempt to collect the theories and maybe pick up some real hints along the way turned into a trollfest half-way through. Anyway, any news on the Feathers? Some of my thoughts are: 1) I don't recall, did Diablo 2 have feathers? If so, these Albino Feathers might be used in a similar manner. 2) Does Diablo 3 have some feathers that are used for something? If so, might be meant as sort of an easter egg. 3) Anyone recall any video game that has white feathers as a primary materials OR Albino(white)-Something as a boss? Might be a nod to GGG's favourite games. 4) I hesitate to believe that a small, "low-budget" company like GGG would include unnecessary items just for the heck of it. Time is money, you know. So the feathers might as well be either something that will be used in future patches or just a left-over of some abandoned idea from the original script that no one bothered to remove. 5) What do we know, they might have planned to implement some dyes in the game and abandoned the idea at some point (with the Rhoa Feathers possibly being used to make a white dye). 6) There's a possibility that the Feathers are indeed used in a secret recipe that no one has figured out yet. If this is the case, we can expect GGG to reveal the mystery themselves sooner or later, because what is the point of all the effort when nobody even knows it exists. (Just like that secret room in Sharp's office in Batman: Arkham Asylum. No one discovered that easter egg, not one of the myriad of players. Welcome to the world of Logic.
It is possible that GGG is trolling us, it's an old tradition in this kind of games. It's possible that while trolling us, GGG whishes seriously to add something to the game in the future. It's possible that none of the ideas listed above is the answer, but that an answer exist. Now, I think that if i had some feathers, and those were doing something special, i wouldn't spread the word. So since i don't have any as any are the fucks i give, i'll expose my toughts Rhoa Feathers increase IIQ or IIR or both when in your inventory I don't know why now i want some feathers, who sells any? ♦▲◄▼►▲♦ @Kadush ♦▲◄▼►▲♦
