I am sure this has been answered somewhere but I'm blind. I was looking at the leveling part of the information and there is a section around act 4-6 or so where there are 2 curses on a hextouch link for both conductivity and enfeeble. Where is the ability to cast 2 curses supposed to come from? Or is it purely for the purposes of leveling the gem for future use?

Herald of Thunder does lightning aoe dmg + 2x curse, since u get 2nd curse from Malediction in asc.
Hi!
I've made some progress in gearing, and I'm having no problems with damage in clearing lower tier maps. However, I'm still feeling a bit squishy and get one shot pretty often so I feel like I've hit a bit of a wall. Any tips for my gearing choices? (I'm aware that I'm missing a tiny bit of cold res)
I have the same problem. The char is a glass cannon: D
The life version of the build is not meant to push very far into maps, it WILL hit a wall at some point.

But also neither of you guys above this have the early game defense things i recommend. One doesn't have leech, one doesn't have any defensive flasks, and neither have the small cluster to fuel IC with charges.

For ease of gearing in the beginning, and ailment protection.

More base resists allows stacking more life/armour easier.

Also nothing wrong with some block!

Wave + hextouch give us exposure and a curse on bosses without adds for Herald to proc from. Defiance banner just fits there.
