Ok, I hit the motherload with one aisling slam. I have never dealt with such a crazy, high-priced item before. I guess my luck finally came through after all these leagues.

My question is how to go from here. Do I risk TFT (wait for exalted) traders to reforge keep suffix, or farm harvest for reforge attack/suffixes?

How hard would be getting 1% dmg per % block and elemental attack damage?

Still in shock how lucky I got...

Craft 8% cold as extra chaos damage and use the shield.

When you want to take the shield to the next level, just keep pumping reforge keep suffix until you get either Elemental dmg with attacks or 1% dmg/block.
Either that or use reforge Influence (10 ex or something like that) with Meta mods.

Then craft 8% cold dmg as extra chaos and be proud over your 5 mod shield.

If you want to get a mirror worthy shield, finish it with a Augment Influence to get the last 6th mode.

Total weight of all tiers of ele dmg with attacks and dmg for block is 2000 (1000 for tier 1 only). Total weight of all the possible mods, except ilvl86 ones is 45000. Imo, expenses for reforge keep suff with such ratio will be higher than with reforge inf. According to my tests, chances for hitting just Dmg for Block are somewhere between 25 and 33% (if we add t1 Redeemer's mod here, they may be more than 50%)..

I recently switched to your most updated build, and I was wondering if you noticed any survability issues with minions? My golems seem to die pretty constantly in juiced T16 maps and simus now. Maybe this is just something to deal with for the most part rather than fix?

I've not had this problem no.

I do lose a couple of Zombies some times in Simulacrums when there's alot of damage mods at the same time.

I did some 10-Scourged maps a couple of days ago.
One of those maps was a tripple beyond 130% quant map with Monsters deal 120% more damage and a delirium mirror. I lost 3 Golems and all zombies in that map when fighting a scourge boss.
My AG also went down to 30% which was scary so I desummoned him.

Apart from that juiced map I have no problems with survivability.

If you're having problem with Golem Survivability I think your best option is to swap Awakened Minion Damage for another gem.

Swapping Minion Damage for Awakened Elemental Focus/Increased crit dmg depending on what's best.
You can also look into swapping Multistrike for Empower4 assuming you're running 3r3b chest.

If you do both changes I don't think Golems will die to anything in the game since they'll be at like 80k HP or something like that.
Done with league, wanted to get the mirrored helm before i leave but x-mas depression got me and i will cry in my bed instead.
Spend like 20ex today to finish the challenges for pet and that is it, maybe i'll be unable to help myself and log in for some interesting ding-snipe from trade window. But do not plan to actually play :^)

So my final rating for this build is 7.5/10 (version which i ended up with is 2x crab 2x chieftain 1x anime guy, no skeletons(tried them, hated it)
Spoiler

Spoiler
First I'll list what i considered downsides of this build:
>It is one of weakest and least fun league starters that i've ever played and I play this for 10 years or so. The only worse build i've played was lighting arrow when it comes to league start. Complete paper, with unimpressive dps untill medium to high budget depending on ton of conditionals to reach the paper dps which rarely happens irl. Minion ai sucks when not set to agressive, Clear speed is bottom end even with mirrored items compared to actual clear speed builds. Proof that I actually played clear speed build and well geared one at that:
Spoiler
spellslinger flamewall, i also had boss carry service with high rating using this flame build but it likely does not work in this patch
I understand that scourge being hardest hitting league we ever had did not help this impression. "Monsters deal 250% more damage or have 200% more life" is the norm for this league.
>It does scale well with mirror tier items, but does not have meaningful small upgrades. You either can afford that +1 gem link helm compared to your previous purchase or you can not. You either can afford that 50ex multistrike or you can not. It has big jumps no small steps so for my friend that also plays this build it was very demotivating. While I can generate currency reasonably well so it was not as big of deal.
>Defensive layers just are not strong side of this build, especially against spells. To solve this issue one would lose 50% to 75% dps and get shield for yourself to cap spell supression along with shoes. Big PD hits Still smash thru all of this and instant kill us because we do not use charges or other non-armor reductions. The "80 to 90% pd reduction" tooltip is against 1500 hit, one does learn how lacking that is with the "take 15000PD damage when you shift randomly" scourge map mod.

Now the good part
>OP is very active and helpful, may be the best OP when it comes to this that i've encountered on these forums. Other users were helpful too thanks.
>High budget feels very comfortable and gets the job done anywhere from uber blight to feared. I eat maven/sirus a9 like if there were white trash in tier 1 map.
>Cold damage, which is not exclusive to this build is great defensive layer compared to PD or light version of golem build.
>Animate guardian is based and coldpilled, will consider using it on more builds from now on, support spectres too
>Scales amazingly well with high budget items (200ex+)

Thanks OP for all the help and to other users for good suggestions too. I ended up having lots of fun playing this build after the roughter start.
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today!

Thanks for the quick replies.

At the moment will keep the shield as is to continue nem 3 farming.

A couple nooby questions. What are considered "metamods"
Why are we using Assassin's mark on rings instead of frostbite now?

Metamods are crafted mods that prevent a large group of other mods from appearing (cannot roll, cannot change etc). Assassin's Mark seem to be better when you switch to crit setup (helm with flat crit, crit multi on your gear and so on).

I just managed to craft myself a +2 wand and was wondering what I should work on next.

My minions are surviving fine, though I did nearly lose my AG in a failed Shaper attempt. On the other hand, I've also failed A8 sirus due to one shots from off screen while learning the fight.
Simulacrum Project:

Just finished a x30 Simulacrum Project which took me a little more than 3 days.
Did x10 of them every day for 3 days.

They took me about 25-28 min per sim so on average, x2 simulacrums per hour.

This is the value of my tabs when I was done:

This is the loot:
Spoiler

Majority of pure exalted and chaos weren't from drops but from things I sold from the Simulacrums.

Noteable loot I got:
x2 5-int & 5-ES Split Personalities that I sold for 8 ex each
x1 ilvl84 12 point minion cluster (10 ex)
x1 3-point Voices (27 ex)
x1 Enlighten (3.5 ex)
x1 Ilvl84 12 point Shield + One Hand cluster (3.9 ex)

Results:

Total Investment: 30 sims for 1.3 ex each -> 40 exalted Orbs

Total revenue: 206 exalted (Not accounting for Bulksales and some items that aren't priced. Probably more in the ballpark of 220 ex)

Total proft: 166 ex

Total time spent running them: ~15 hours

Profit per hour: 166/15 = 11 ex/hour

Conclusion: Do simulacrums if you want to make money.

well thats nice, but to do simulacrus so effectively you need invest into build more then 220ex :)
With my level of gear I only was able to do 29lvls and last waves were only like 3-4 reward flips
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.
