[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)
@Deadandlivin
Could you create a separate PoB for Simulacrums ? Because the number of changes you've already mentioned is pretty hard to follow just from the guide.
P.S. Would Crabs be better in Simu than SOs ? They are much tougher and their main drawback - the clearspeed may be mitigated by the small area of the encounter.

Honestly, I use this for mapping and killins Sirus aswell cause I can't bother to respecc.
I just swap to Flesh Offering cause clearspeed is pretty slow otherwise.
Bone Offering for Sirus is also super fun. I got corrupted blood immunity from jewel and shock immune + block cap from Tempest shield with Bone Offering.
This allows me to tank die beams.
Dps is lower than I want it to be but I've got loads of room for upgrades.
This might actually be the more "balanced" approach for the build moving forward. It requires quite alot of investment though with the small cluster jewel et.c.

Helm: Double elevated awakened orb -12% cold res 9% increased ele dmg taken helm. (This helm is 10ex +)
Weapon: Kingmaker
Gloves: Gravebind with EW corruption
Boots: Windshriek with 2% regen enchant
Chest: Inpulsa
For this setup to work you need tp cap your AG resistances and it's REQUIRED that you run Indomitable Army and most likely a Ghastly Eye jewel with 10% all ele resistances.
With this setup you want to run Anomalous AG for 60% increased effect which is insane. It extends inpulsa explosions alot. Against harder trash monsters like 30% delirius it's invaluable because the Inpulsa explosions spread Elemental Weakness which almost doubles your clear speed.
This allows me to get 5/6 bars of loot on simulacrums every wave, even wave 30 compared to skelly mage builds who usually finish with 3/4 bars of loot when I've watched.
I haven't lost my AG a single time (so far) and he survived wave 30 sims which tells me he's tanky enough for now. Kosis did some oneshot stuff that killed my Carrion Golems, this brought my AG to 60% which was scary though cause his regen is low.
With a 20 ex helm I'm sure most people would want to be their AG to be very tanky though.
If that's the case you want to run Doppleganger, Divergent 21 AG and some random gloves to cap ALL resistances.
Due to my lack of damage I managed to lost my AG to Sirius during the fight. He is 21/20 and socketed in a +3 ring.
For some orientation, in that video you showed us that you killed Sirius in a few seconds on that last phase, what was your total Sirius DPS?
I find myself doing a lot of Heist. Is the kind of content where this build can perform great. No deaths, great experience and currency. I think it is the way to go with that low/medium budget gear.

You lost your AG because you don't have Indomitable Army.
His die beams apply corrupted blood which stacks up infinitely while you're moving.
What happens during Sirus is that the AG tanks a diebeam, gets corrupted blood and starts running around like a headless chicken which continues to stack it up. He then dies because the stacks are too high, and he's shocked, and he's probably out of range from your Commander in Darkness 30% resist range et.c.
Indomitable Army solves all of these issues I've found.
Only problem is getting it. It requires a 6 point investment for the mastery.
In your case, I think you just want to get it by sacrificing Sacrifice and x2 minion dmg nodes. It will help with tanking up your minions far more. Also, you REALLY want the +8% max ele res mastery.
I think my total Sirusdps was around 50 million running that setup on a budget of ~50 ex. Gotten Awakened Multistrike since then and a better chestpiece so I'm probably around 60 ex now. It's very glasscannony though since I run zero block, flesh offering and Vaal Haste in that setup.
It's basically my bosskilling setup: "Kill before you're killed."
Yeah, Heist is super good for this build and I will always recommend it as a safe way to make alot of currency and to level up.
Alot of the time I'm hard stuck on some level because I refuse to go tanky (Slows me down too much). Then I decide to have a Heist session and 5 hours later without a Death I'm 80% to level.
Same thing in early Delve. Once you hit 250ish in delve though, survival becomes an issue.
Mapping can be rough though. Alot of small random oneshot things out there to get you. Especially if you press V.

I'll try to put Indomitable Army in my tree! Thanks for the tip.
One other question about your BIS AG setup: with that helmet, we lose the chance to Brittle targets with Galesight. Is there another way to get this or it isn't that important?

-9% cold res is better than Galesight Brittle. Galesight is too inconsistent and our AG doesn't do enough dmg to scale the brittle. You need to give him some insane 2hand weapon and link him to Unbound Ailment to get a strong brittle.
You will get brittle when going higher in budgets from a Cold Attuned Buckler shield. That shield applies brittle on block and your minions will be block capped wearing that shield.
For the mid-game and intermediate scourge builds, where are you getting the +1 curse from (curse on hit on ring and elemental weakness on animate guardian gloves)? Or are we just using one curse and have elemental weakness as a "buffer"? Thanks for the guide, made my first summoner and I'm breezing through higher tier maps at a low level!

Thanks for that, I made those changes and got both auras working now which has increased my survivability alot. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong in pob, but my DPS is showing as ~6m. Which I'm pretty sure is wrong, my gears not great but not that bad (running 4x crush claw set up).
Need to get a new wand, then just woke gems I guess?
Alright so i fixed what you guys told me.
I put golem in chest whil i don't have 7L helm, i changed chest for an EE one and i replaced one SO with one Primal Crushclaw.
Damage is waaaay better but tankiness was still a bit off so i swapped awakened unbound ailment for molten shell and now it's way better.
Also i noticed glancing blows is actually making me lose ehp even with capped block. So i unallocated it and added a rumi and now it feels way better. I even took haste instead of grace with a movement skill recovery watcher for perma phase run so i can zoom even more.
Now i've got around 25m dps, decent ehp and almost perma 180movespeed.
What do you think should be my next goal now ? I was thinking improving my shield. I think I only need to spam reforge keep suffixes until i hit something decent, it wont cost too much i hope. I know i need a new helm enchant but i rly dont like running lab it's just too boring.

Well, there are very few options to upgrade a shield. The only realistic option for you is to get a shield with +2/+2, empty prefix and then to unveil "cold as extra chaos" in prefixes. Then you just craft "Double Damage" in the suffix. Another potential upgrade is to hit "damage for chance to block", however chances of getting it are tiny.
What I would recommend you is to focus on your wand. Some kind of "Minion damage, AS, Hatred Effect" may upgrade your DPS quite significant. You can also run some 5-way rotas and invest into clusters.
