I am so ANGRY that Diablo 4 has turned out to be a D3 Clone for illiterate people.
I mean the skill gem system sort of turned out to be a bust. You just pick your 1 skill and then find the 5 supports that maximize damage, you never really try to do anything interesting it just turned out to be a 5 minute math problem+wiki search.
Long cooldowns are a mortal sin though. On the upside Diablo always managed to make finding items worth doing. Last edited by j33bus#3399 on Feb 23, 2021, 1:15:29 AM

" Ah yes the nostalgia that helps you through the game for the first week and then you notice all the terrible things that came with D2, as it was with classic WoW. Grinding hours and hours for the item you need to get your shadow resistance up to run Naxx with 40 people for atleast 6 hours straight. People tend to see only positive things if they talk about the 80`s or older games. It's a placeholder till D4 arrives, after that D2R will not longer be supported (atleast not in fullscale). But hey, atleast Blizz made a profit out of it. Just wait till they annouce it for mobile too, because china market=favorite market. |

" I am with you on the gem system. I will go PoB & just put the ones with biggest output & AoE. The only thought process of gem system is balance between AoE & damage really. That is the only meaningful choice for the support gem system. YOu can mix & match & have support skills like "cast on hit" support more than one linked main skill, & it can be fun to optimised the limited space of the gem. But you know what, this only depth of gem system will be dissed in poE2 where every main skill can have 6 link. |

" not to mention that tencent has it's grubby fingers is so many fucking video game franchises right now and a large portion of the money they make goes to the chinese social credit thing, or facial recognition tech, or more robust censorship, or some other dumb shit designed to strip away human rights " but I thought everyone on the internet was american?????? |

" Pretty much anything and everything can and will be monetized and socially engineered. Tencent rightly views online games as another potential social media classification. PoE is basically twitter with built-in animated gambling. They care more about what you say in chat and how much you spend every league on mtx, than how broken Purposeful Harbinger was or which blueprints are getting cloned this week. " I chuckle every time this [Removed by Support] makes a sentence or even thread title more hilarious. Like this one. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2578873/page/1 Masterpiece of 3.16 lore

" While that's true, it's the developers' design vision what's concerning, but not the incidental flaws and hickups over the process of development. There's already a glaring trend in the development of this game, which speaks a lot about the mindset of creators. From what we've seen up to this point, it's reskinned D3 over and over. Darker and grittier in appearance, but with nearly identical mechanics and gameplay features, same streamlined character development. I'm personally pretty disappointed, had quite a lot of hope and expectations about this game. This is a buff © 2016

" Way I see it Blizz's mindset is "you want more D2 we have the remastered version, you want more d3 then d4 is in the pipe". Sadly, some of us just wanted some form of evolved D2 with very little of d3 in its DNA and we will be getting the shaft for sure. Second-class poe gamer
