Seems about right.
Currently ,with not that much content, it is mainly grinding for the sake of it (only handfull of bosses) and for RP reasons in case you want to build a castle /etc. Also he's right about the unpolished state of the building aspect. We will see in one year if EA players only bought into potential (like many EA titles) or an actual good game which can be fun over a longer period of time. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks | |
For an EA game, made by 5 people this is pretty damn good. I've played "finished' games, bought at much higher prices that had less content.
Not perfect, not finished, but for what it offers, at that price this is a gem. Also, probably a personal preference, the fact that you don't die of hunger or thirst is a god send. I get why survival games implement that, but honestly it's more of a chore than anything else. Glad this game skipped on that. |

I really loved my time with the game. I normally don't like survival building games, but this one is designed really well.
The building of structures is quite rewarding because of how the stability system works, so making a building that can stand is a feat in itself if you want to do something like that. I especially liked how eating food becomes a reward instead of a thing you have to do or you die. "Minions of your minions are your minion's minions, not your minions." - Mark
