Your build is pseudo you never even played ulti and you claim that this is good for ulti well its not. Without iron reflex and auls uprising there's no way to get 2800 es block or an easy time around t16s and ultis in general. Can you put a disclaimer to stop leading people on?

Super fun build so far! Great guide as well. T16 Ultimatums can get a little scary but miles better than any other build I've tried so far. Still need to get a Bottled Faith and fix a few of the shortcuts I took when I started to run out of currency - like getting proper split personality jewels! (And get some more levels, of course!)
How do you calculate the 5m DPS for the Definitive Defensive Tank Edition? Not doubting it - just curious! |

" Hi Rikujo, take a look into "faq", there is a list to check when you die often, like pantheon, flasks, resistances, etc. You miss for example anti-bleeding-immunity on flasks, that will kill you very often in almost every map with physical damage. Anti-corrupted blood is also very important, you get it on flask, permament added on a jewel is better when you fit it in for permament immunity. You miss a basic jewel too with blue nightmare for blockings not flask-uptime-depending. You can benefit only 1x with +3000 armour on only 1 granite flask, take another flask instead, not 2x granite. Curse resistance-suffix is not ideal too, you have 80% permament in your ascendancy. Soul ripper with 146 charges does need very long to fill, take 50-80 charges or another flask before Limit ball-lightning to level 1. take a look into manamanagement for correct reservation of mana to get all benefits. Too much unreserved mana is not ideal, take a look into your ascendancy radiant faith and helmet memory vault. You can farm some aul's citadels for getting aul's uprising yourself. But it's a problem on poetrade, yes, now there are a bit more on the market as in the first week. (I am still not sure if level 250 delve is needed for the drops.) Vaal grace you can take also as a strong defensive skill without activating grace when you like. Without ironskin you get instead 50% more evasion, not bad too, but for bis-gear ironskin is recommended from level 98 upward, yes. Before iron-reflexes take a look into "Gear, skills, links", there is in "skin of the lords" a ranking for other well fitting keynotes like phase acrobatics. The build's popularity is not low in these days, I am sorry, some b-i-s gear is not easy to get cheap and it is written in the spoiler "contra" what gear is expensive to max out. The other keynotes are fine also until level 98. But you get only circa 2000 es on block without iron reflexes or try the imbalanced guard keynote for 2400 es/ block and 50% more evasion, but less pdr instead, it's nice for lower levels too. You get much more substain than other builds even without full gear. For mapping take melee splash into your dagger. You can try out for mapping or ultimatums the phantasms support-setup of the spoiler "Harry Potter and Airforce 11" for some more damage if you do often ultimatums, delves or blight. Also without aul's or iron skin the build has top high defences and is played by myself in t18 deliriums full juiced and level 100 in all content and there is a reason why a lot other´s in ultimatum league get into top levels even not full max geared - with it's umlimited blockings, max ehp and HoA the build is fitting great to the mechanics of needed defences against all damagetypes and needed high substain of ultimatum. In your set-up the flasks are fast to improve (bleedings probably will have killed you 100x), also clusters and jewels. For other cheap upgrades take a look on page 50 for tradelinks and shopping-list too: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3019705/page/50 Some other easy optimizations of the build are missing on your gear - clusters, mana, amulett-anoint, catalysts, your skill-set-up, anomalous and divergent-gem-qualities etc. You have a lot very good gear , but some very important stats are still missing too. " The defensive edition has (with correct configuration 15 withers, curses, ascendancy-buffs, tail spike attack, 50 virulences, 20 minions/ allies, etc. , see spoiler gear and spoiler pob: configurations) 2.4 mill damage HoA and 20 spiders 1.1 mill Switch in the singletarget-supports: melee-physical damage instead melee splash on dagger for 1.7 mill. and vile toxins instead pierce or predator instead minion damage for HoA singletarget support HoA 2.9 mill. to get the correct shaper set-up. That is only 4.6 mill damage, with second offensive curse like sniper's mark which is recommended for shaper or sirus too you reach 5 mill. total (or count in the 5 impales of HoA, they are triggered in 0.5 seconds by 20 spiders for another 0.2 mill damage more not correct added by pob). Renewal and rotten claws were nerfed on large clusters and I did not corrected the damage-numbers in the build, I am sorry about that fault and corrected it just now. Thank you for asking! Started your build yesterday and its really nice. I respecced my char I had and itsd a blast. I can tank t16 ultimatiums without any problems.

" This build is excellent for Ultimatums. Even without Iron Reflexes, without Aul's, i can afk facetanks red maps ultimatums, mostly. Even with upscale. I able to do Iscribed Ultimatums to double Exalts and etc... Everything related to content with high density mobs is a joke for this build. Except Blight and Legions sometimes. When you stack 75% spellblock + 75% block, and have nearly 40 000 armour without any other effects (additional armor from the flasks and etc) when you have frost shield on CWS support + molten shell, i am even facetanking Sirus meteors and die beams at A5 for now. By the way, some allignments still can kil you: Reflected bleed, hard ignites, some staff on the ground, so you should keep attention to such damage (I was not and i was punished for it). But not direct damage almost. Some map bosses still able to one shoot you, but again its rare bosses that probbably will oneshot anyone. (Tower "reborn guy" with lightning seal that he slam in the ground for example) But...Damage and spider mechanics... Maybe its just my lack of experience, but damage especially on solo targets its pain. And its pain not because i use cyclone and can't stack Virulences, its just because some of bosses too fast, they teleporting all the time, and you need continiosly damage them to have up your damage. And Agony Crawler offten kills your worms from the bottle, i know that i can use frost nova or something, but anyway its weak side of the build in quality of life. So everything pretty ok, i am never played before this way, when you playing and didn't expect dying in some random one shot, and its pretty cool. But again, solo fast bosses - pain without a end. I chased Sirus near 10 minutes in last phase, because he just spamming blink offscreen, and it was a really pain to stack virulence to deal some good damage. " Spiders can definitely be a pain at times, it's certainly my main annoyance about this build. But once you get into a fast rhythm of Desecrate, Desecrate, Writhing, Ice Nova, it's fairly consistent even when your crawler is trying to snipe your kills. :D I highly recommend using Ball Lightning to proc your Virulence, though. I played HoP cyclone last league and I know your pain - spending 10 minutes on Sirus' final phase was THE worst. " Hi Zlatoruk, thank you a lot and let them crawl! Yes, to raise the spiders is sometimes some clicks more. For me personally I love the swarming beautyness when they take a hug on bossses or knock them out of the screen with bodyguards on a cluster. But perhaps you missed spoiler "boss-hunting" with optimizations of melee damage support instead melee splash for bosses or sniper's mark for enough flaskcharges of writhing jar. In spoiler "blizzard" are more tipps to raise them easy and in "21 is only half of the truth" some synergies more. But you need 4 clicks at all each 10 or each 30 seconds. Your singletarget damage will raise a lot with the next clusters and with sniper's mark and the gemswap for large ones like Sirus etc. For more damage you have to switch some defences to damage. Ignites are the most dangerous ailment for this build (legions, delve, etc.), you cannot block them. Scorch and shock are dangerous too. Take overcapped resistances against scorch. In Shock-map-mods map slower or get the point next to anointed flesh and some implicits on clusters and jewels in harvest-crafting. You get full Igniteresistance 100% with the maxed minor pantheon of Abberath and anointed flesh. After that you will love all fire-mods, hehehe! A complete list is in the spoilers "fire" and "other ailments". Also pantheon of solaris maxed and blindings reduce the ailment-inflicting hits. In your set-up take "vaal discipline" and it will get a lot, a lot easier, it's an immortal mod for this build against all not blockable damage and dot. You have vulnerability on gloves and no whispers of doom, so you can take out witchbrew and jade or rare stibniteflask instead. With "charges when hit" or when you yourself critical hit as suffix they have much more uptimes in bossfights too. When you take all 8 steps in the spoiler "manamanagement" (and venetually additional manreductions if needed) you get a lot free passive points instead discord artisan and leadership. "Exsanguite" you have linked to cyclone, very interesting! I have to try out too, hehe!! You need continuous full virulences singletarget for full damage, with cyclone it's a bit difficult above 40 or 45 and you need melee range to get them up. " Heya, Chromino! Yep, i know. I swapping gems for single target Melee damage for spiders/Pierce-> Vile Toxins and etc. "Exsanguite" - i seeked for some virulence helper and find out this skill. It works well for me, even with single target (Except some bosses like Sirus that just blinks all the time) "Exsanguite" strike with 9 "rays" and its pretty cool visual effect for cyclone btw :D And anyway, single target damage is not so good/pretty for me, just because of mechanics of some bosses. And sometime layot (agony crawler able to shoot in rock that exist between him and his target, and even didn't hit the target) I can buy better clusters, but it will not solve such issues.
