⛵☁️[3.25] The Arachnophobia Allstars| Chaos Guardian CI|The dirty Scorpion-tail|Herald of Agony 150M+

I question my decision about playing this league. It does not seem to be interesting season. If I go in, I will probably (for the 5th time) pick Arachnophobia. It's too good when it comes to being tanky+clearing+(normal)boss build.
+++ [3.22] Crawlcestors+++

I am updating the whole pob and the whole guide in these days until leaguestart.

There are no bigger main-changes overall.

With the patch for guardians the 100% spell-suppression-pob will be No 1 by default.
The melding of the flesh for 96-99% all-resis built in is still easy possibly, but the default arachnophil-tree will focus into the east into 100% spell-suppression.

The scorpion Herald of Agony with the unique big huge base mix of physical and chaos-damage is much less depending on poison duration and will be probably one of the remaining top scaling chaos-poison-builds in whole PoE with early easy reached 32M damage.

The big thing I'm curious about, because it seems to be the only significant pre-start clarification is the changes to the ascendencies.

I have in my own PoB adaptation assumed that I drop Radiant Crusade and Unwavering Crusade for Bastion of Hope and Time of Need. Everything else, tattoos, changes to support gems, tweaks to gear around the loss of cast speed, potential aura changes around Guardian's Blessing support, can be worked out as we move through the first week of the season.

Anyone else have thoughts?

I love this build but I never know where to start, what skilltree use and what kind of equipment to aim first. I mean by a lot of reading I always end with a kind of build similar but not as strong as it could be.

Take the "Final Tree 100% Spell Suppression" in pob.

Guardian will be extreme tanky with buffed time of need and the new guardian-minions tanking a lot.

But overall Pathfinder will be probably best with an early inbuilt mageblood and necro with best damage when you focus on ubers-farming.

+++ [3.22] +++ The Crawlcestors League [3.22] is upcoming +++ PoB is updated! +++

Pathfinder is again most flexible with an early ascendancy-inbuilt mageblood effect synergizing great with the increased global defences of skin of the lords.

Necrmancer is best scaleable for damage and so for farming uber-exarch, uber-uber-elder, uber-sirus etc. with good gear.

anyone else think this pob and guide are just.. really difficult to follow?
there are SO MANY skill builds in the pob and the guide is very.. wordy... its just all over the place.
Agreed, but i hang on :D

There's some details i dont really grasp, like how things interact with each other, but i guess it comes with experience with the build.

Because RF is failed build vs this league mechanics (no hit, no interruption...), I will go back for the 6th time to Arachnophobia (I don't like other Templar builds). I got my hands on Stormshroud jewel, so this time I will have complete ailments immunity (seems like Simulacrum without Purity of Elements will be on the menu).

I have a question: how this build performs in Trials of the Ancestors? With Sniper's Mark, spiders, HoA, spamming lightning bolts all around it would interrupt all enemies letting my team take enemies base without a problem. Am I correct? What is your experience?
Hello. I farmed enough with this build, time to reroll (:
I want to sell all my gear, price is 55div with discount, price breakdown in pob notes

The build is good, EXTREMELY tanky in maps (afk tank 8-essences in T16), but still some oneshots here and there on bosses. Damage is good, clearspeed is above average.

The version i'm using is Melding of the Flesh (84%), United in Dream (no spiders)
7 mil dps, millions of EHP, 50k armor, 22k eva, 4500 ES, 38%/72% block (more with levels, i'm currently 95), 5 auras, 100% ailment, 78% suppresion (can get 'lucky' mastery for more or magebane skin of the lords and path to inveterate instead)
All clusters are self-crafted with lots of resistances, there are almost no such options available on trade

There are upgrades to be done:
4 empower
4 enlightens to free some reservation passives
3rd cluster possible with higher level: more virulence
Divergent HoA
DIfferent virulence apply methods

I am really new to these kinds of builds. 4k ES and 75% Fire/Lightning res in POB looks like not much. Where does immortality come from?
