Aye, early on your own (small) damage can still deal the killing blow and you end up rising spiders from the nearby corpses. Later in or when some rare/unique fights drag on, you start loosing them to their own duration and have to recast the jar. As I said it's then delicate to ensure -you- get the kill immediately instead of the currently spawned pets ;) which is where storm burst shine since you can just it the jar while channeling ensuring they will prob die as soon as they become active.
But yeah I love the build. My reflexes aren't really great so something tanky was needed. I have seen my share of hairy situations i know none of my other chara could have dealt with. It's less DPS than a lot of other options, but it's very delicately balanced and when the pieces start falling in place it's downright exhilarating. My only qualm is that I'm not a fan of withered steps as left clean CK as I prefer having full freedom of fire dashing, but I learned at my expense that withered steps WAS deeply useful this way nonetheless.
Anyway, love it, just need to finish gearing !

Did you maxed pantheons? Burning ground is a bit different to ailment-immunities. And don't use hard atlas-passives like "wrath of the cosmos". The "checklist defences" often shows what stat is missing or which map/altar-mods are dangereous, some I cannot check with pob.
Finally the build works for me. Have to drop CWS setup & frost shield and replace with self cast molten shell. it feels tankier now.
Also have to use enlightened lvl3 to assist with mana.
As for the damage, changing from rare glove to triad grip really boost the damage Problem is to find resist for melding of the flesh, Need to drop 1 circle of nostalgia and replace with curse ring & change few cluster but the damage increase really worth it.

You may want to look at getting resists on your clusters.
If you have a resist you don't need, change it with the harvest craft into the one you do.

Don't use Envy-aura, disable it. The crawler has already high basic damage and envy would not buff much for it's high mana-reservations.
The curses are best triggered cws or with a balance of terror selfcast despair.
Do you mean the 15 withers? Yes, they add best damage. In "The composition of agony", "jewels" and "tipps for levelling" the possibilities are shown. In most set-ups a balance of terror is most effective, or a glorious vanity with "ritual of shadows". Wither totems are possible too.

You probably want to add though that ALL the medium clusters for minions can be very easily crafted by spamming bound fossils on them. It's actually crazy how easy they are to craft.
For the Boots:
Start with sorcerer boots with a fractured high tier resist
Step 1 is the implicits.
Start with a sorcerer boots with a high tier fractured elemental res
1) Spam Grand Ichors until you get 24-26% avoid elemental ailments.
2) Use a lesser ember on it.
3) Use an orb of domination. If you upgrade the avoid elemental ailments, proceed to step 5. If not revert to step 1
4) If you have to have 30-32% avoid elemental ailments as implicit, repeat step 3 until you upgrade it once again.
6) Once your avoid is at the proper tier, use t4 embers until you get an implicit you can live with, probably movement speed.
7) Spam deafening essence of loathing until you get another high tier resistance AND t1 flat or t1 % energy shield
8)If you have open prefixes, craft suffix cannot be changed. If you do not, use an eldrich annul AS LONG AS EATER is dominant. Your goal is to get the t1 defense mod alone. If you annul T1 defense, go back to step 7.
9) Now that you have t1 defense alone and have crafted suffixes can't be changed, aisling for a 50/50 chance to remove suffixes cant be changed. If this removes your t1 defense, back to step 7. DO NOT UNVEIL
10) Craft max mana on your item to block. NOW UNVEIL. hope for MS. If you unveil anything else, back to step 8. If you annul t1 defense, back to step 7.
11) If you hit MS, craft either flat or % ES and finish.

Hey,
I should hit 93 in a few, provided I don't get cocky and forget there was a no-regen mod on the map or whatever.
While there are a lot of small updates I could do, the next "big" one clearly is Aul's, which I think I'll get with Grace - more affordable - which in turn should enable me to put on the Ghost Dance Skin of the Lords that's been waiting in my stash.
BUT
I just feel like there are no skills I could drop to even fit Grace, lol. I even had to choose between Molten Shell and Withering Steps, Molten Shell winning mostly because I often find myself stuck with no charge of Flame Dash - courtesy of WS. Also Vaal MS buff is cool.
So yeah anyway, I was wondering if the struggle to fit a few more needed gems isn't just a big red sign that it's time to ditch the Spiders and grab a United in Dream? That would give me back at least 4 slots - the 3 support on Arakaali and Convocation that wouldn't matter a s much imho. I wonder if loosing the natural spider clutter wouldn't actually be a boon for Sanctum ( which I absolutely CANNOT do with that build (yet))
But loosing the Spiders is a bit scary :D They are a nice living, unkillable wall of Chaos Splash Damage, with the QoL feeling of seeing them rush to offscreen foes. Not to mention they activate Onslaught passively for sweet sweet movement speed.
So yeah. I'm conflicted.

At the end of the day it's a build I love and whatever I do, I'm always coming back to it. Heck, I league start with it. Totally doable, despite a few hardships for bad currency making people like myself. But once it starts clicking, it's just a big joy !

Not gonna lie, I am UBER confused with this POB.
At what point do I switch to certain trees? I am level 95, have Aul's, 4w socket Triads, ghost shroud 3g2r1b.
There are 4 different ghost shroud variations, but lining those up with skills/equipment is a DISASTER.
Anyone want to take a look and let me know what to do?
