Nice! That's higher than me :). Good job!

With Trials/labs, some builds just have to avoid instead of mitigating. This is one of those builds were you avoid all the traps and use a life flask if you get caught. Take your time. I didn't have a hard time with labs at all with this build so it could simply be how the lab rolled for you as well.

Increasing damage with a minion build is to increase minion damage and the level of minion gems (or raising the gem level of the type of tag that the minions are). In the gear section of the guide, there's a list of mods to look for and why.

I hope that helps a bit.

It sounds like you're liking the 3.13 changes from the 3.12 version of the guide ;). You can thank Tom on YouTube on one of my podcast's replies for pointing out a mistake in how I thought Spellslinger needed to function. His note opened the build right up and really changed the theory-crafting options for me.

Thanks for answer.

As far as damage goes . we have 126(Deafening Essence of Fear) vs level 26 ( since both our gems are physical we can put two cold iron point and take the gems to level 26), i dont know which is better.

The build is pretty nice and i will keep improving it .

how bladefall will trigger spellslinger?
i put the gem linked with despair, enfeeble and hextouch, but cannt reanimate the lingering blades. Ty for the build

You need to use a wand attack skill like Kinetic Blast (or Power Siphon, Frenzy, etc) to trigger Spellslinger. Bladefall should linked to Spellslinger not the hextouched curses.

first, and probably second and third as well, Thank you Wrecker ! for such detailed and fun builds. I always look for any new builds from you when a new league starts as I like to try new things but am horrible at theory crafting like this.

have been intrigued by animate weapons but it was always too clunky until I found this build guide. I usually make a few changes after I get to higher levels and have a better understanding of how the pieces fit together but the starting template is invaluable.

one question about golems. I am running Chaos right now for the physical damage reduction and all our chaos damage mods should help him a little bit as well. but wondering if the stone golem's taunt is effective enough to help keep mobs off of us and focused on him. I have been leveling a gem in my weapon switch, so will play with it a bit and see which helps the most but thought you, or others following this build, might have some insight

Hi thedoldii!

Thanks for the thanks! I can't see your character so I'm not sure exactly what the issue may be. For each Spellslinger gem you have, you have to activate as well. Pretend they are each an aura that needs to be turned on. Also, only once each Spellslinger gem is level 17 will all your mana reservation gems be able to be active at once.

I'm glad you're having such a good time! I appreciate your kindness. I'm happy you found a build that suits your style with a skill you like. :)

On a side note, our Chaos Golem is only impacted by Minion nodes, not chaos nodes. Anything Minion or Ally will impact our minions, no matter their damage type.

Regarding taunt, taunt is huge. The Stone Golem doesn't do it too often but still, it helps out big time. It's a good switch for sure and a good observation. Either choice is good and hard to choose between.

Has anyone tried to minmax with this idea and take it as far as it can go? Maybe that's against the spirit of the build but I like the core ideas and just wonder how far it can be taken. I'm a bit worried about how this will be able to handle red maps and especially bosses.

As for other things, if I have a problem it's how slow the build feels. I plugged in flame dash as a movement skill but the problem is actually the animate weapons themselves. They move very slowly and the AI feels weirder than that for other minions. Resummoning also takes a surprising amount of time, everything is linked to spellslinger so you have screen spam yet the lingering blades are barely visible on the ground and require near pin perfect mouseover to summon.
