Let me further explain this for you

Ignite deals damage and does not refresh, so the 2.2mill ignite dps is constant, we dont need to shoot or hit multiple times. Each new hit puts a seperate ignite on the target, but only the highest ignite tick will deal damage. The debuff does 4.4mill dps and that is when it hits 5 stacks. The debuff lasts 4 seconds per debuff stack, aka 4 seconds per shot. So attacking at a rate of 1.88 (basically 2 shots per second), we can effectively keep 4 stacks up most of the time, however, taking this into account, I may seek out some more attack speed on the tree to make it easier to maintain 5 stacks of burning arrow.

After having a mechanical flaw pointed out to me about the burning arrow stacks, I had to make some adjustments to increase the builds attack speed, and in doing so we lost a bit of damage on our 5 stack tooltip, but overall it will make it easier to maintain 5 stacks of the burning arrow debuff, which is where the majority of our dps comes from. I have updated the POB and am updating it in the build guide now :)
Are the items in the build ideal? Because the resistances are very low.

This is your POB ignite duration, = BA debuff duration. Reduced by the belt and other things, pretty small window to apply stacks
I'm not too good at building, but even naked(except for doomfletch) at the lvl 40 tree with gems scaled down to ~40 and 4-linked, still looking at ~50k 5 stack dps with 4s ignite duration. Definitely will have a faster time to end game, and a faster way to see if this build is for me or not.

You dont apply stacks of ignite my dude. The 5 stacks is the burning arrow debuff which has a 4 second base window, it's a seperate timer than ignite. To clarify: Your burning arrow debuff is a 4 second debuff, and your ignite debuff is a 1.94 second debuff. Your burning arrow debuff is NOT an ignite therefore it is not shortened by dyadian dawn or other ignite duration modifiers, ONLY by skill effect duration modifiers, which means with the current build it is still a 4 second duration :)

The items in the POB do not have resistances on them, I just showed the best in slot offensive mods. You will have to slot resists onto your gear as needed when playing on your own :) the gear in POB is only for offensive template to show the damage output.

Quick question, is there any reason you're taking Liege of the Primordial over Heart of Destruction? I was playing around in the PoB, and wouldn't the boss dps be way higher at the loss of a barely any clear damage?

Heart of Destruction is only a damage buff when convergence is up, which is 4 seconds every 8 seconds, since ignites snapshot its better to have the consistent 550k DPS from Liege over the 1.5mill temporary dps of Heart :)
