I am testing it out, anyway I assume people know not to overlvl combustion, just enough to take over the flat added lightning to spells (if any) so fire is higher than lightning. But I will put it there somewhere.

I found with my current build (7 golems), ice golems give so much increased accuracy, a regular gloves with flat +300 accuracy is enough to cap the hit chance to around 97.

I am still trying to swap precision to flesh and stone but need to get some more RMR.


I do not believe combustion works this way, for 2+ year people have maintained its works like maim is does as all ignites are still ACTIVE, if not doing damage. Ignite proliferation actually demonstrates this rather well. I maybe wrong, but i doubt it.

To answer your question I have seen it two ways:
1 - run 2 of each type and 1 flame golem. This will keep their buff up in case one dies.
2 - run the max amount of chaos golems and one of each other type because chaos golems force EE with the end game setup.

I plan to stick with the first scenario to start as they seem to die quite often in Ultimatum.

Someone can correct me if I am off here, but this seems to be the priority for wand dps:

1. Fire gem levels (or all spell gems levels)
2. Burning Damage
3. Fire Damage over Time
4. Fire damage/Spell damage

Cast speed does nothing. Added flat spell damage does nothing. I don't think penetration does anything either.

Can get +1 fire gems wand for 1c.


Increased spell damage should be good as well right?

which golems are you running?
and important question: possible to do high tier ultimatums?
actually i have been playing this again.
Currently have done most of the content and farming on a9 map, done all ultimatums on every map. Killed wave 10 boss 3 times.

The growth is really smooth and no dps gap in red map at all.

My gear is pretty easy to obtain too, no need to wait for any specific uniques at the start of the league.

Attack speed buff from the lightning golem helps Kb/frenzy/ps. Wands are kinda slow without good attack speed rolls.
