[3.14] Odif's Old Obsolete Skel Mage Guide, New one is in a new thread
" Nope, "X% increased projectile speed" does not apply to your mages. It has to state that it applies to your minions. |
|
" AFAIK quality doesnt affect the loot from chests, so there is no reason why run other then white Blight maps. |
|
" Could you explain me your concern ? I don't see any interactions with CWDT IC and this flask |

Man i love your build, i just killed sirus without dying(thats a first for me on any character. Tried it because i never played necro into the endgame before(thought it was boring) and now that im used to it i really like the class...love it especially on boss fights, when all my minions are out, they just tend to overwhelm bosses.
I stayed with the old triad grip version tho, because i just love how when i put signal prey on something 9 zombies just tear it apart. Anyway, heres my gear. What should i improve next guys(amulet or boots)? p.s.Vaal summon skelly L:21/23 is a HUGE uprgade imo, its really worth getting. |

" No mana gain! You would run to zero and be SOL |

Crazy strong and loving it. First time on a Necromancer and boy is it OP.
Question on the build: I'm using Triad Grip which makes Minions have 10% chance to Freeze, Shock and Ignite, wouldn't this make Skitterbots redundant? Will our minions shock and chill (for hypothermia) bosses themselves? Last edited by craptastic16#1813 on Jan 26, 2021, 12:58:36 PM

" To shock a boss takes a BIG hit. Damage as a percentage of targets life. Our minions do lots of little hits. They will not do significant shocks. Skitterbots have a automatic chill and shock on bosses that is quite large. | |
Spoiler
Haven't done Necro in a very long time, thank you for this guide I'm doing very well this league. |

After recognizing the damage superiority of lightning skelly mages over cold mages and getting frustrated with how winter orb works, I've come to the opinion that using Hydrosphere would be a good way to trigger Elemental Equilibrium
Just by clicking twice on each end of the screen you can wipe the whole screen with cold damage. And incidentally the hydrosphere spell itself grants 10% increased vulnerability to lightning damage via exposure. The exposure lasts longer than EE lasts, so you can just cast it on top of a boss every 5 seconds. As a spell it feels nice to control to boot. |

" Many thanks for the valuable input! Skitterbots it is |
