[3.20] Gryph's Burning Witch - CoC Volatile Dead Necromancer - Burn Yourself Through the Atlas!

What's the better base for the chest?

Astral Plate or Vaal Regalia? Any pro's or con's?

Gloves could have influence.

Elevated Unnerve is nice and let's you free up a socket for specters. Primal Crushclaw and Primal Blisterlord are insane some extra damage on the corpse explosion side of the skills

Drop Purifying Flame for a Self Cast Immortal Call. Very good for on-demand defense. IF you get the gloves you can move the low level CWDT to 4L and have Flame Dash, smoke mine, arcane surge, second wind setup in the staff with Immortal Call and Raise Specter (Raise Specter doesn't need links)
This is my setup atm:

Astral Plate has resists and some armour (good for small hits)

Reg has ES and no str requirement.
nice

I found a Primal Crushclaw, killed it and the corpse was gone.
I guess i have to remove Cremator first before i see another one.

How to make sure that it stays in our desecrate pool?
Do we need to run around with it?
Or is it enough to keep Raise Spectre socketed.
Or can we even remove Raise Spectre after we raised it once
and still keep it in the desecrate pool?

I am min/maxing my less than 4 ex budget variant, sitting at 6250 life atm
and still having 53% evasion from sand stance and less chaos issues.
So far this build even tops your Cremation build in every category including fun. :)

My build now, not quite sure what's left to upgrade here that isn't a huge investment (Replica DD).

My two current projects:

The belt I'm planning on removing the defence to add crit. But I'm unsure if I want to reroll the suffixes to try and get t1-2 Dexterity + better resistances. Or should I keep the strength and keep rerolling the resistances?

For the ring, I'm planning on using Aug Fire to get a prefix. But I'm unsure if I should be going for the Warlord prefix (fire damage with endurance charges) or just fire damage on attacks (in which case I might just crafting bench it on). For suffixes, I'm thinking of harvest crafting Crit Multi and Chaos Res.

Any feedback would be appreciated :)

For the ring: leave prefix open for craft. Leo 20% damage, Energy shield, or eventually -3 mana cost of channel skills (can buy back 3 passives with this and additional stun avoidance)
But yes, Chaos res and multi is good. My ring:

For the belt, remove defense, Augment Crit, and reroll suffixes. Know what suffixes you want. Cannot roll natural dex on belts (essence of sorrow only) so keep that in mind. Reduced Flask Charges used is really nice though. I am trying to get more chaos res on mine atm:

Great stuff though dude! Very nice :D

Thanks for the advice! Is the reduced flask charges consumed needed to sustain them on bosses even if you have flask charge on crit already? I'm wondering what the trade off for the extra life from strength would be (or am I being dumb and should just replace it with Chaos Resist or reduced Flask charges?).

I agree it's way more fun XD

You need to have the specters follow you around. They can die in the map and that's fine, but you need to resummon them before starting a new map (your hideout will save them for as long as its instance stays alive). Create a specter bank with Primal Crushclaws and Primal Blisterlords in case of specter loss.

Well, it's hard to sustain flasks on bosses as you can only realistically get 10 flask charges per second spread across all 5 flasks. So I figure the reduced charges used would help with that.

Otherwise chaos res, strength, or other needed resistance works just fine.

Showoff. :P

nice one though. Gratz!
are the specters still pretty useful if not using DD?

YES!

Volatile Dead still has a corpse explosion portion of damage and this takes 3% of corpse life as added base fire damage. The AOE is kinda small on it but it's still pretty significant when you pop one of the corpses from specters.
