GZ for winners.

Looking forward for same competition but allowing 'old' hideouts to precipitate.
I've spend so many hours on mine and don't rly wanna start a new one ;)
COLD AS ICE!
I think it is important to say that a large chunk of the community who cares about the competition and Hideouts is simply frustrated as the size of one's pockets played a major role in getting to the podium. It is not fair to other competitors who were promised that MTX free and MTX inclusive hideouts would be rated differently (and even be represented in a mixture of winners). The problem with this competition is about fairness between competitors and the obvious favoring of MTX users by Path of Exile and its judges. Nothing of that (the fairness) is seen in the hideout winners section sadly. There are fair ways of holding this competition and unfair ones, sadly, this one was the latter. It just leaves a bad taste of such a good game otherwise. If you want to make it fair for everyone, let competitors use any decorations and hideouts available in the game for free for the period of the competition. As someone else pointed out, you could just host a competition server/league with access only to one's hideouts.

PS! I am really looking forward to a reply from GGG here as this is a recurring theme in the comments that you have received. How will you go forward with tackling unfairness in your future competitions? Maybe do not just state that the competition will be fair in the future if as a business you cannot uphold this claim? I understand and I bet others do also, that competitions like these drive MTX sales for decorations and tilesets. But please, just do not lie to your players, it's that easy.

I shouldn't be salty - there were so many awesome ones that I just need to try harder next time! I thought my two submissions were pretty cool, but maybe I should use more MTX next time instead of going for the no-MTX used prize on my two hideouts. As far as I could tell, almost all the top ones used tons of MTX on MTX hideouts and I deliberately chose not to. Not saying that's the only reason I didn't do well - I have a lot to learn - but it'd be nice to see more non-MTX hideouts highlighted. Oh well. Congrats to the runners up and thanks for giving out more prizes :)

What do you mean Pay to win? You mean people that bought stuff? i mean they would have a advantage but yo, I've doing hideouts since the beginning of hideouts, And honestly their is alot you can do with all the free Decorations and such. Plus you usualy get a free box every league which usualy is hideout deco's, But their is plenty of videos of how to use the games hideout deco's to create your own world and decorations inside the game.
Looking at the winners hideouts..... ...

last time i enter a competition like this and waste 10 hours+ :-).

This was not even a competition where the best and most detailed hideouts won.. wich is making it a waste of time for alot of us that actually put aloot of time into this.

no salt.
