having fun with this char, i use flame sentinels from solaris temple on spectres, using a clarity watchers eye with low level clarity reserved on life, so i can squeeze in aspect/discipline, im already clearing t16 like this though :)
just brought the clusters so now its time to juice up the damage even more :D using brine king/abbereth to deal with ailments, tbh with a shock flask i probably dont even need to be ailment immune. i cant be frozen, chill has reduced effect, burning ground dont damage me, my only fear is shock/ignite both of which can be flask handled.

" Level 20 anomalous flammability at 35 doom is the same reduction as 2 curse on hit 32% rings. It's a lot less affix restriction on gear and lets you run ele weakness vixen's on animate guardian if that's your thing. |

Since I haven't done the math for that before lets see: Level 20 Flammability has -44% Fire Resistance. 35 Doom increases that by 35% -> -59,4% Fire Resistance A Curse on Hit Ring is level 1 with somewhere between 20% and 36% increased effect. Flammabilty at Level 1 has -25% Fire Resistance 20% Increased Effect -> -30% Fire Resistance 36% Increased Effect -> -34% Fire Resistance Elemental Weakness at Level 1 has -20% Fire Resistance (it reduces all elemental Resistances but we only care about Fire) 20% Increased Effect -> -24% Fire Resistance 36% Increased Effect -> -27% Fire Resistance So with two Curse on Hit Rings we get something between -54% and -61% Fire Resistance. To apply both Curses we need either a Chest with +1 Curses or we anoint "Whispers of Doom" and we need something to Hit the enemy with. With the Anomalous Flammability we get -59% Fire Resistance at maximum Doom (10 Doom per Second -> 4 Seconds to reach max Doom) We could drop the +1 Curse on the Chest, the curses on the Rings and potentially the Ball lightning if we don't use it to apply exposure on Hit (one of the new Implicits) Interresting approach, only reason why I'm hesitant is getting the anomalous Flammabilty Gem. But since we are talking endgame here, this is definitely a good option. Thanks for the tip. im almost block capped but i cant think for the life of me where you get the last little bit? im at 66/66 bone offering is 18(+3) so probs 1-2 more to come from that :o wheres the last bit of juice @

Slowly building in standard. Can clear yellow map pretty well, even with the poor gear I have. I know I need to upgrade helmet and wand at least but everything is so expensive in standard so I can't do all at once.
What will get me the most dps increase - wand, helmet or body armour (I'll deal with the shield later) or should I focus on getting the jewels for now (which range from 50c to 3-4ex) ? The cheapest helmet is about 10ex, the cheapest wand about 25ex and cheapest armour in the same cost range. I have about 15ex I can spend. " I just check the Trade for Standard, those prices are something... XD You'll likely get a nice Boost from some Ghastly Eye Jewels and a better Helmet. This should easily take you to late red maps. Aspect of the Spider is also a really nice damage boost. You just need an open suffix on a gear piece to craft it. Poeatlas.app

Hi again. The gear upgrades helped with improving DPS and getting to red maps. DPS is around 64K, so can defeat map bosses but it doesn't melt them straight away. I'm a little squishy so I have to remember to move instead of standing still.
Can't squeeze anymore minion damage from gear (I don't want to risk trashing existing mods on wand and ring) but is there an anointment I could put on the amulet to get more minion damage ? The tree takes most of the potential ones already and they changed Aligned Spirits but is there something I missed ? Failing that would upgrading gems to their awakened, anomalous, divergent or phantasmal help improve overall DPS ? Latest POB - https://pastebin.com/nD5xZbub. Thanks for all the help getting me this far ! Edit: Noticed that in POB if you choose Minion Instability instead of the default in the main skill section the DPS goes up by a factor of 10.
