Question about gear. I have decent gear and about 5ish exalts right now. What should I upgrade next? I am in the middle of crafting my bow, but I dont think the +2 support gems is worth the 3ish exalts its going to cost me. Anyone have any suggestions on the next upgrade or two I should do? Is awakened gems better for me right now?

I can't say much about what your immediate priority should be, but I can think of a few improvements as I have a similar setup (more true to the guide's build).

The first two suggestions are mentioned in the guide if you want more/clearer details.

1) Empower and +2 support gems bow
I think this will be a significant single target DPS boost worth the cost. You're looking to be able to shoot at least 2 CAs with your unreserved mana, so something like 110+ mana at the minimum. If taking mana res to the left of corruption, you can likely get the Malevolence mana reservation enchant on your Viridi's Veil and have enough for a few shots.

2) Swapping your boot gems to helm and replacing faster attacks w/ enhance. This gives you more initial wither stacks which helps your death's aura and caustic arrow (less so CA for bosses since stacks build anyways). For example, I have 11 instant wither stacks as opposed to your 8. I was cheap with my enhance, you could get this up to 15.



3) Roll/buy a new stygian vise with increased damage and increased chaos damage. I crafted this recently for ~2.5 ex and shared it in the thread. If you miss chaos damage, you can use it or sell the belt for fairly low or no loss.



Buy a ilvl 84+ base w/ 1 prefix and 3 suffix: life and some suffix combo of resists or attributes.

Craft veiled mod "chance for Flasks you use to not consume charges"
The above crafted mod blocks 1 of 4 hunter prefixes, the remaining are:
(16-20)(21-25)(26-30)% increased chaos damage (best)
(3-6)(7-10)% increased maximum life (2nd best)
Gain a flask charge when you deal a critical strike (worst, but sellable)

Slam hunter ex.

+2 Support will benefit much more when you get Empower and Awakened gems (level 2, since they then become lvl 5 which is when they get huge bonuses).
So until then you can focus on other things

The best Timeless Jewel i found for now is 508, it gives if you go the path from POB:
11% increased Evasion Rating
11% increased CHaos Damage
2% increased maximum Life
11% increased Attack Damage
3% increased Attack Speed
3% increased Movement Speed
8% increased Projectile Speed
(there is another 11% chaos damage that can be taken instead of something else for only one point, like increased maxmium life)

as notable passive:
20% increased Area of Effect of Aura Skills
8% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras from your Skills

I have a +1 level of all dex gems (hunter base, ilvl 83, onyx amulet), how hard is it to get +1 level of all chaos gems on top of that?

Should I yolo Regal + Annul (hopefully hit the bad mod that comes from regal) and Multimod craft (life, area damage, etc)? Should I try to Alt spam until I hit something like +1 dex and damage over time?

I play SSF btw.

how "chance to inflict withered for 2 sec on hit" work ?

if I already use withering step to inflicts 13 debuffs for 5 sec and when i hit if it proc it gonna be like 13 debuffs for 5 sec and 1 debuff for 2 sec ? or it stack

gonna try to choose which notable on timeless is the best for me

You don't need the one in POB. You only need Xibaqua.

It doesn't. This is for fast hitting builds, and we hit never.
It would have stacked though.

There is a guide on Youtube by Elesshar. He has tons of really good guides, so I recommend watching it before going YOLO

Could you create a hyper optimized min-maxed version with maybe mageblood and such. it would be rly interesting to see how strong the build would be with unlimited budget

so I managed to randomly obtain a mageblood, The plan is to sell it.

What would you invest 400ex into with this build.

Me and a friend have been playing this build since league start and enjoy it so much, were thinking of a headhunter and 2 inspired leaning's each and then finish the weapon and empower gems off and take it from there.

Would Inspired learnings work with the build? If so where you would put them?
