Change 1-3 sockets of an item to a white socket. (Must have no white socket and not be corrupted.)
Again - Noob question.
Should I try and get certain socket colors before I use Vorici?
Or do the white sockets remain even after I try and chrome the chest piece?
So the way the white socket bench works is it will randomly choose 1 to 3 of your existing sockets and turn them white. So it might need a few tries.
Yes you should precolor, and if u use chrome on it again then it takes out the white sockets.
This way of coloring is only for socket colors that are too hard or close to impossible to get.
Also I believe you used the calculator wrong. It showed the best option was vorici 3R. It means to use the bench craft for at least 3 red sockets.
Vorici 3R, 2,366.0 chromes,19.7 tries, 120chrome per try
So If I'm understanding you correctly I should just keep doing the 3 Red recipe and cross my fingers.

Ok so I took my AG to a reflect map and now it's Resting In Pieces.
So I spent my last two days making up a new AG and this is the result.
So the survival of the AG will be from the boots + helm combo with gems in the hungry loop.
I spent about half a day trying to find a better option than the kingmaker but with no avail, it's just too good.
Now the reason why it is using that Expedition Chest piece is because of the last line " Nearby enemies are chilled" This will count as Chilling area
"
How I proved it to be chilling area:
Spoiler
These gloves have a mod that said I can sap enemies within my chilling area, So I wore the glvoes and the chest piece and went PVP, and proved that I could give another person the sap debuff. This proves it counts as a chilling area
Now this combo is very interesting because it will also work with
The last line means all enemies around my AG will now also make nearby enemies take inc cold dmg.
So why is this a big deal? The reason is simple, the inc dmg taken is a multiplier. Just like how a bottled faith works.
A bottled faith makes enemies take 10% dmg and costs 15ex.
but here you make enemies take 35% inc light and x% inc cold.
Now the reason why I said x%inc cold is because I'm not too sure how the chill effect is calculated. I know the higher cold dmg you inflict then the higher chill effect it will have. So if anyone knows how this is calculated to get an exact number, please do share it.
Such a great read! And my new thing today about poe: you can annoint gear for AG :).

Lol tbh I didn't think of it at first and was running uber labs to get 2 % regen and then I thought about just somehow getting grave intentions on the skill tree instead. Then it hit me that I could just annoint it on the boots lol.
Also this idea bombed, Kay pointed out to me that this won't work cause the annoint if for minions and if I let the AG wear it, it will be the AG's minion's hahah. But somhow my AG lived like 10 simus lastnight hmm looks like I'll need to make changes
I'm thinking maybe I should get a pair of corpsewalker boots with 2% regen enchant.
Edit: Think i'm going to use these instead. non-ailement for the chill effect for in cold dmg taken by enemies.

Love it how you all still are playing/experimenting :)
I got caught up in naxx release on classic and shadowlands on retail wow, and the holidays now.
Still got a project or two to finish before league ends, something for January though!
so on that note, merry christmas to everybody, and since I'm the first (yes I read your posts Turbo) - donate my exalted to anybody you feel like giving it to :)
Guys what belt is better for mapping carrion golem build hh or The Torent's Reclamation ?
And what hh gives to summons ?
I would say that HH is pretty meh for mapping at least. Reason is simple - you get some ehp occasionally and thats it. Physical dps minions won't get much benefit from the auras you pickup unless you are gonna drop brutality support (very questionable choice). Torrent belt makes all faster and I personally favor it not for speed but for CD reduction time - makes travel skills, bone armor and convocation much smoother.
