Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay
I do think that GGG is putting its credibility on the table with the next expansion. With their atrocious 3.12 lauch + all the communication about "next time it'll be much different trust us" + the delayed 3.13 + the lockdown excuse card already used (a lot), they caught all the attention around their (lack of) capacity to do things well from now on, and everybody (me included) are now waiting for their next move for next league like snipers in ambush ready to shoot. If the next league isn't in a greatly polished state with an almost major bug free lauch with less of the recurrent mistakes they make (that people are less and less inclined to forgive), I bet 3.13 will be the worst time GGG had never knew.
Maybe GGG hasn't been used to not have any real competitors for too long . . . Cyberpunk isn't a Diablo like game, just a scedule hard time to bypass. The lack of diablo like video game is the main reason GGG keeps doing the same mistakes every league over and over again for more than a year now. It is true that strategy-wise, it's good to delay next league's launch in order to keep players interested throughout the 3-month cycle (more revenue from supporter pack purchases, new contents from mystery boxes, new mtx, etc...), rather than releasing it during the time of other big games... However, did you consider the fact that after the holidays, people may not be inclined to spend more on things they may deem "superfluous", like mtx from a game that is quite expensive regardless of it being f2p? I'm not being depreciate or anything, I'm honestly curious if you thought that through...I'd see many people starting to making arbitrary choices in regards of what they should spend their money on after a supposedly "season of spending money on gifts for their families and themselves"...Idk, maybe i'm wrong and there's enough people that are willingly waiting for the new league to come out and spend their savings on mtx and inherent things...I guess it depends on everyone's elasticity towards certain products...True that hardcore fans will obviously wait for it and spend money on it regardless, but is it worth the delay? Curious to see...

" PoE will not meet this event at all, but I doubt Diablo guys would like to release their precious D4 if a new league starts... for GGG it wouldn't make a big difference at all. |

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I was in the camp that didn't understand what cyberpunk had to do with poe but it's much more clear now. Very well said and much appreciated

Completely understandable!
Thanks for you honesty, greetings from Brazil!! <3 |

" Yeah, because activision/blizzard with it's manpower and a significant existing base of subscribers is completely comparable to GGG :) God I dont know why they humour people like you when this is the result. |

I don't understand how the hell there are so many salty comments. A few weeks of delay isn't going to kill anyone. Well, I guess this is the world we live in, where CD Projekt Red is getting death threats, yes, DEATH THREATS, for their own delays.
Software development is hard. Developers are humans. Keep in mind that game devs work their asses off to provide us entertainment. And if you have so much time to be whining about slightly delayed games because they're trying to release something with more polished quality, then you should be ashamed [Removed by Support] Last edited by Natasha#0000 on Oct 29, 2020, 10:04:13 PM

Not Buying it
Just be honest, Tencent(86% Shareholder in GGG & 40% Shareholder in EPIC GAMES) told you guys DELAY IT. I am tired of the assumptions and beating around the truth. |

" So a game from another genre, single player , from the same creators of Glitcher 3 can impact PoE, but the sequel to the spiritual sucessor of PoE, a game awaited for more than a decade does not? LOL nice joke |

" Sounds like your computer is complete trash. My 8 year old computer (i7-3770k + gtx 660ti) runs 30 fps at MAX settings just fine. And my new-ish laptop (~$1k USD) runs this stable at 60 fps on Vulkan with everything turned up. |
