3.13 Launch Delayed until January

Disappointed,we used to play on december`s league with my friends, i still have 12 day-off at my work which was reserved for poe league. Also Covid in Christmass will be lonely... sooo dissapointed.

+1
Use the time to code v2 :-)
At the expense of your path of exile majority playbase, you are catering to the more casual players of path of exile who hop from game to game.

This is also an excuse to have more time than normal to make sure your league isn't trash filled with bugs and terrible mechanics, despite already committing to 50% less content already than normal in order to achieve this.

Why would you cater to a game release that isn't even related to your company in anyway? They wouldn't do the same for YOU. Are you going to cater to d4 release too, which will be more relevant to your playerbase? Did you get paid to do this? This doesn't seem like a good strategy.
How is Cyberpunk related to PoE? Do other companies plan their schedule with the releases from competition?
This stinks of an excuse to delay the December league, but at least be honest about the reason. Don't pretend it's because you care about some other game
Meh I took days off to play PoE on December :/ Also don't like the idea to make such a decicion based on another companies release...
Songs are like knights. They need to be covered in metal.
Good decision, very much appreciated :)
Disappointed. Why ruin christmas-covid time for an other genre game?
What happens if that game gets delayed again? Are we now syncing poe releases with other games now? Isn't GGG confident enough of their own game? Is GGG scared that streamers won't cover the league start?
I've serious trouble to understand why you need to postpone the league start for some random game.

For four years now, I've been exclusively playing poe, while not all leagues are perfect, I enjoy playing the game as an occasional player with just a couple of hours per day. Having the league delayed is a slap to all players that mostly (or only) play this game.

Made a poll at this link.

You do realize your poll will be completely lopsided. The only people here are the ones complaining. All the people that are ok with the delay or happy that they wont miss a league start cause they will be playing cyberpunk arent here. They read the news and left a long a time ago.

Then maybe GGG should have done an in-game poll that all players would see, not just unhappy people, rather than tell us what we want, as they always seem to do now.

A good way to avoid hearing an answer you don't want to hear is to simply not ask the question if you don't have to.

and maybe you can all cough up the huge amount of revenue GGG would lose by trying to compete with a game release of this size.

I'm trying to stay as neutral on this as I can but I'll admit if Cyberpunk comes out on the 10th I couldnt give a shit if GGG releases the best league ever. I'll be playing Cyberpunk. If its on par with Witcher 3 many many people[probably more people then poe's entire player base] wont give a shit about any other game release.

You're asking a small potatoes company to go against a titan in the gaming world. its a fight GGG simply cant win. It would cost them tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands dollars in lost revenue. You should be thanking GGG for making a smart financial business choice. You think Tencent would be fine with the delay if they didnt also know it would be a stupid move to go up against that.
