Today's Hotfix for Heist

Killing is still raising the alarm so either the fix didn't take or it's not live yet.

Thank you for the changes. Without a proper sneak mechanic, trying to sneak, especially with minions was impossible. Nice idea to try something new but it doesn't fit PoE's core mechanics.

Fun mapping alternative though, keep refining it because it has loads of potential.

About killing monsters not increasing the Alert Level anymore, doesn't this remove meaning from the patrols, and stealth entirely, actually?

Stealth and killing mobs was a problem indeed, I felt there wasn't enough space to actually perform in a stealthy manner, all I could do was avoid the patrolling groups and some individual guards, but since being spotted didn't matter - only killing them - it was simply faster to run past them.

If I may offer a suggestion, assuming you'd like to keep the stalth element in some capacity: how about making it so that aggroing the patrols raises the alert level by some amount once per group? Just an idea, though, I don't know what's for the best.
Nice. As a question, what skills did you used to test the heist? Because clearly some will perform way better than others.

A friend of mine is playing poison cyclone, maps were easy, but he was hating heist because of the shotgun at the door.

For next leagues you could pick random characters from the current one to make a fairier test*. The suggestion is to take samples of the player base at different days (1,2,3,5,10,etc) and progressions (top 1%, 10%,30%, etc), so will be harder to oversight some things.

*I know that leagues change things, the game is balanced with an intent in mind, but still a better test
What about the after death explosions or other invisible death mechanics that cant be seen??
I swear if they make some maven "Simon says" insta-death minigame, sirus, exarch ball minigame then i wont play poe2.

Of course it's not live yet. The last patch in the patch notes forum was 2 hours before Bex's news post about an explicitly future ("but hopefully today") patch....

Man, the zoomer crowed always has to be please because they are loud criers.

If you have to think for just 5 seconds it's too much for the reddit crowd.


It's getting harder and harder for GGG to push differnt stuff because if it can't be zoomed through, it's not 'arpg'.
