I haven't played in a while and was bored at the hotel and saw your new updated zombie build, so since i have a free respec I loaded it up and even without the curse skill group, i literally just walked through act 6 without hitting any buttons except my potions. And the only time I used those is when fighting the bosses or a strong unique. The screen would just melt with my zombies & spectres thanks to the unique wand(cant remember the name atm) that gives +2 to gems and spell echo. Screen was literally filled with lightning from the 3 spectres. I could barely see what was on the screen half of the time, it was beautiful...lol
I've never been one to find playing piano flasks enjoyable...just stresses me out. Quick question, have you thought about trying an HoA build? I would think with cyclone or similar it could be an easy one button build as well to keep the crawler up.

I have put a lot of thought into multiple HoA builds. But at the end of the day, I just don't like how the Herald of Agony works in-game. Its damage is amazing but I don't like how/when it attacks its skills. I guess I get annoyed with not knowing the cooldown of its skills and waiting for the boss killing one to show up every now and then. I may give it another chance someday soon, but it was the actual gameplay that I didn't like, not its potential. I appreciate the suggestion though! I'm always up for 1-button minion build ideas! Thanks!

As much as I love ordering my minions around with Predator Support, I find myself not using it as often as I could or should. Perhaps if I played PC instead of PS4 it would be different...but that is a topic for another day.
That being said, I replaced PS with Summon Phantasm Support. It "seems like" a dps gain, but at the cost of some control.
My question is now regarding the Melee Physucal Damage Support in the 6L since the Phantasms deal Physical Projectile damage and not melee. Should I leave it alone or is there a better support which will boost the overall damage?
To a lesser degree, the same question with regards to Fortify Support. Since the Phantasms are temporary, would it be better to have a different gem instead? Hmmmm....for that matter, would Skeletons be better now than Zombies? Oy vey. My head hurts ><

I agree dlvbrown1969! I don't use Predator Support as often as I should either. It's more peaceful playing with something else ;). I love Summon Phantasms as well, but as you pointed out, it's tricky trying to support both melee and projectiles within the same link. You're basically back to Minion Damage, Predator Support, Brutality, them Maim or Meat Shield. Just watch your zombie survivability. The more damage they do the more they leech. Obviously Phantasms take away from Zombie (but not build) damage. I love Phantasms though. 100%.
Adding Skeletons as your 6th socket on the zombie link is perfect as well. You could replace Predator Support with Skeletons and keep all the same supports (and use Vaal skeletons too!
Heck, you could do all three ;).

So to test it out, in replaced minion damage with vaal skeleton. This is on top of already replacing predator with phantasm. I did this honestly because of color of sockets. >< I wanted to see how viable it was. I like it. So, now I don't mind recoloring my 6L. With this in mind, having brutality, zombie, skeleton and phantasm "locked in", what would your other two choices he?
I like live minions over dead ones so Fortify seems the best likely choice ... unless it's not needed now with so many other minions to share the damage intake.
Melee physical seems stronger than plain minion damage - but the former would aid only zombies and skeletons whereas the latter would benefit all 3.
You're the expert. What is the best course to follow?
Using vaal skeleton is reminiscent of a past build of yours. In fact. I checked the trade to see if I could buy a wand like mine but with an open prefix to add the trigger enchant. Sadly there were none with both the +1 spell and +1 minion modifiers. If one becomes available (or I craft one), is going to a trigger wand feasible?

Now I get to a door (with 100 monsters behind it) and vaal and hide. Having several dozen minions makes my ps4 lag, but they clear thev doorway making it safe for me to wall thru. Prior to this, I could never kill them all fast enough to beat their respawn. Now I can.

So if you cared about projectile damage (which you should if you're going to use Phantasms) I think your next two options would be Minion Damage and Maim. They deal the most "more" damage generically for minions.

It's redundant for the most part. So you could remove Maim Support from your Shield and move over War Banner. And then where War Banner used to be, you can put in any spell that you would like to have cast on a low cast when damage taken. That's one of many ideas.
You could even leave things the way they currently are and instead of putting Maim linked to your minions, you could put Minion Speed instead.

I (for now) replaced melee physical support with minion damage support - since not only are phantasms not melee, but a good portion of the vaal skeletons are not either.
I left in brutality and fortify to complete the 6L. It's a bit (a lot) laggy at times, but the enemy clear rate is strong.
I just completed an Infused t16 Beachhead map. 20 Harbringers. Was fun ... except AFTERWARDS when I googled it, apparently there us a known bug/glitch where one of the Harbingers can and will OHKO you (even those with 8k hp confirmed to be one shot). Apparently 4 of them were like this. 3 of them have been fixed. 1 has not.
Kinda sucks because I died 2x to this 1 mentioned above on the map and then once more in the boss encounter. RIP 30% exp.

The only stupid question is the one you never ask. ><
If you lose a Zombie, simply depress which controller button you have 'Raise Zombie' assigned to.
To assign a skill, hit R3 and you will notice the bottom right controller display highlight. Now pick which button you want to assign Raise Zombie to. There are 4 on the default screen and 4 more if you hold R2 and 4 more if you hold L2 ... giving you 16 buttons in total.
Note that in order for Raise Zombir to work, you have to raise them from a dead corpse. You can either kill something in a zone and use that corpse...or you can assign Desecrate to a button. If you activate desecrate, it will "place corpses" for you to use. You can use Desecrate to raise zombies or Specters safely in your hideout before you zone into various zones and play PoE.
Note that in this particular gem setup that this build us using, desecrate is linked to a CWDT gem. This disables the gem from being manually cast as I described. To work around this, remove CWDT temporarily so you can cast Desecrate. When you are done, dont forget to re socket the CWDT.
Did you get it to work? If so, I am glad to have helped in a small way. A minor point of clarification...apparently in my sleep deprived state last night, I thought 4 plus 4 plus 4 was 16 when in fact it is obviously 12. So, you have a total of 12 console buttons for your skills to be assigned to and not 16 as mistakenly stated above. If you ever run out of buttons, skills like aura don't need to be actively on your button assignment. You can set one. Activate it. Remove the assignment and the aura will still be on you. Of course, if you die you will have to repeat the process so imho it's best to have everything assigned if possible.
