Stress-Free PoE! RIGHTEOUS GOLEMS (RF): No Required Items! 1-Button Play! SSF League Start-End! 3.12

Thanks for the build! I started using RF around lvl 40 using flasks and bought a cheap 5L Cloack of Flame.

I found this: https://i.imgur.com/gbGizxb.png

Seems to be pretty good for this build!

Anyways, really fun so far, thanks!
Will the effect from Abberath’s Hooves trigger fire hit on mobs? I got these boots from an early heist, switched to RF and EE and im thinking aberaths is maybe really bad now?
Had a great time with your retaliation max block build last league, and this build is shaping up to be just as fun. My wife and I are playing this build together this time. We leveled with a combination of Wall of Fire, Holy Flame Totem, Scorching Ray, Blazing Salvo, and Firestorm, which seems like another potentially fun build in there somewhere.

I actually managed to switch over to RF immediately after the first lab at about level 35 with no uniques, by taking most of the life regen nodes (didn't head down past Shaper yet, but grabbed basically all the others) and making sure my fire resists were capped. First ascendancy points went to Liege of the Primordial for the extra buff effect and golem, of course.

Now I'm level 50, have a third golem and still don't have any uniques and it's going smooth as ever. Only died once and that's because I went and did a delerium mirror out on the coast before getting my resists sorted again. Some heists have been a little iffy but mostly because I keep forgetting to reroll the less life recovery mod.
Hello, I notice you keep CWDT level 8 for Immortal Coil. Does that mean I should also keep Immortal Coil at lvl 10? (It doesn't have the level in brackets next to CDDT) Thank you :) Awesome guide enjoying it so far.

When you have Wave of Conviction equipped, move a CwDT gem to your inventory. Mousing over the CwDT gem shows the 'Active Skills' tooltip that tells you which gems it can and can't apply to.
Wave of Conviction has a X next to it in that list.

You’ve already checked whether it’s just a “required level” mismatch? (ie. your Wave of Conviction got levelled up before your Cast When Damage Taken?)

That's indeed what it was! WoC was level 15 (req lvl 60) and my CwDT was 10 (could only support up to reqlvl 56). I had completely missed that bit of the tooltip.
Thanks :)
Awesome Vistn! I'm glad you figured it out! Thanks c3rement!

Hmm, I only play on and off but I noticed that Rise of the Phoenix wasn't mentioned once in this thread. Is there something I am missing or is this BIS if playing non-SSF?

I am on Hardcore btw.
Hey HariZheng!

That shield is perfect for this build. Use it anytime you like. I'll be using it I think. It's been a while.

Don't understand why? I think gems can stay the same, it is just 3 skills on passive tree and I think it is worth to take them early. Unless I am missing something...
I misunderstood previously Suporex. You're not missing anything. You'd save almost three seconds with that cluster on the tree. So sacrifice whatever you feel is worth it. Sorry for the confusion.

I've managed to transition to RF at level sixty and having a whale of a time. Thanks again for the guide!

Prior to the guide getting completed, I was looking around at other RF guides for inspiration, and shield-wise, most people seem to go with Saffel's Frame rather than Rise of the Phoenix - I assume because while you're losing out on 1% maximum fire resistance, you're getting +4% to all your other maximum resistances.
Awesome Myrmigalen!

I'm glad you're having such a good time! Ya, Saffel's is popular for sure. It's hard to choose for some, others not so much. Everything in the game is a hard choice me ;). I appreciate your thanks :).

Dumb question about mods. so fire DOT multiplier is most important, but where is the break point? Example- Is 15% fire dot better than 25% fire damage?
It's not a dumb question at all BipolarBear21!

But there isn't a legit answer. You see, all Increases to your damage are global. They add up from every source. Same with DOT Multipliers (Separately). Then they get multiplied by the "More"s. Then the increased damage enemies take gets thrown in there...It's tricky stuff found on the wicky somewhere. But the breaking point for perfectly min-maxed mods changes with every little thing in the game. The math is too complicated (in my opinion) even if the game gave static upgrades. Unfortunately, you'll have to go to the wiki for the details. Sorry.

I always choose DOT Multi. You could always play around with Path of Building by making your own items in there. Just remember that the results you get would be very specific to this build.

Thanks for the thanks! I'm glad you're finding gear you like and that works. It's fun when things work together. I'm glad you're having a great time! Thanks for taking the time to be kind :).
