Are guilds for console finally being added?

Responses such as, "who cares about guilds" always amuse me. Just because one person doesn't, does not mean others do not as well.

Yes, I would prefer more performance issues addressed. But I do like the idea of a guild system as well. Do I think performance should be first and foremost? Yes. Do I think everything else should come to a halt? No.

It is possible to add features while simultaneously improving performance. Just as it is possible to be a member of the community without being a douchebag.

What is the point of Guilds? When I played on PC people only joined guilds to get free stuff. Otherwise guilds were just full of people who were already friends. I hope adding Guilds is very low on GGG and Jeff's list of priorities.

Don't assume you speak for the entire community. Personally I, as well as many others, would rather they skipped adding things and worked on performance but as we all know, they're waiting for next gen consoles to be released before they do that.

This post's first non-GGG reply was an assumed voice for all, declaring that nobody cared about guilds on console.

As far as those asking about the point of guilds? Im my house, their are 4 daily players of PoE. My wife, my two sons, and myself. We frequently play together. Having access to a single guild stash to place upgrades for each other or having access to currency gathered by the group is a massive QoL for us.

The problem is that too many assume they know what everyone wants. For some it is a simple matter of having the same features as PC and feeling a bit less neglected. For others it is an actually feature that can make their play more enjoyable. For some, it is completely irrelevant.

We all want something different out of our experience. Nobody should assume they speak for all. And if the added feature is of no use for you, then do not use it. It does not mean others should be deprived of it.
