So I've never played a Spellslinger build. When you say just selfcast Contagion, does that then cast the other spells via Spellslinger?

u activate the spellslinger abillities by attacking with your wand through frenzy, but they changed the reservation number % so you can't reserve contagion aswell before much later, where you are going to change into selfcast anyway.

Karv already tested new spellslinger lvling with only soulrend 4l and ED 3l spellslinger, which was 5min slower.
And u can jump into 4l Soulrend, 4l ED and 2l contagion spellslinger around like 75 when gem lvl 16/17 |

" I tested a bit last night and for leveling slinger, ED and Bane have the same damage, or pretty damn close, but bane applies in an aoe. I'mg going to use bane for my 2nd slinger setup instead of ED. I could be wrong tho maybe it screws up the mana |

Thanks for this build, will try it out for the first time now in Heist. In the notes it still says use SS + Contagion but you mentioned using just
Soul rend - spellslinger - lmp/gmp - void manipulation Essence Drain - spellslinger - void mani - controlled destruction/efficacy recently. So it would be recommended to do that instead this league? Thanks! Last edited by ludise on Sep 18, 2020, 3:42:05 PM

Actually in my test run, I didnt use contagion once... Soul Rend cleared everything on its own and then ED just did extra damage, lol.

Hey Hasunic, I'm following your build and wanted to ask how did you get those two wands with +1 chaos gem + chaos dmg overtime so early yesterday? Any tips?

Would like to recommend a zeel's amplifier in the start, it's real cheap but very great for your survivability, damage and aoe.
