Surprised the shit out of me! I was prepared for league long frustration trying to link this thing. I also got an ilvl 84 10% elemental damage cluster jewel with 35% increased small passive effect, 3% cast speed per small passive (4% after effect boost, and 3 life per small passive. Combined with the 31% cast speed I have on the tree it should be enough to make the build feel smooth. I’m still going to go with this single brand approach using VD and desecrate in the same 6 link. We shall see if I can get it to work right.

Got a paradoxica to drop last night and I have another 5ex in raw ex and chaos, so if I have time I'll buy the necessary gear tonight and make the switch buy week's end I think. Need to level some gems though D:

I would also like to say that I'll test a CWC/CoC setup for this at some point using martyr of innocence and scold's bridle. VD/Desecrate would be in a CWC 6 link in chest and DD/Desecrate would be linked to CoC in the martyr of innocence. VD will clear and inflict brittle to crit cap as, DD will help out with tanky rares and bosses. I'm not sure if you're familiar with this type of set-up at all but I can link a youtube video that explains it pretty well.

Definitely I've seen CoC VD and DD swaps - here are where Arc Brand stands out from them:

1) No need for melee hits for damage output, which means higher consistent uptime (i.e. you can DPS Sirus/Conq from across the room even when they teleport)

2) No need to satisfy accuracy/hits can't be evaded requirements

3) DD looks great on paper but actually scales Corpse Pact 5/12 as quickly, which compounds to much slower ramp time.

I.E. You get some nice QoL and a fun playstyle with CoC, but it's ultimately a melee build great for mapping and some static bosses. On Maven/Sirus however, I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole :D This is Bosskiller Brand after all!
