Names of items and chests suddenly disappear
The R2 and down toggle is also good for when your loot is out of bounds and unreachable, just toggle on and off and the loot will reposition closer to its original spot

" Ah, I didn't know that, *thanks*! |

I myself didn't even know this was a feature. I am learned today! Always thought this was a glitch.

" Ha ha! Same here! |

Is it possible to build an option in the Options menu (where you can change servers, activate filters and the like) to enable/disable this key combination? For I really hate it when it happens by accident: after a while when nothing worthwhile seems to drop you discover that the combination was activated again and you can go back exploring the areas you've already covered looking for good stuff you've missed. Really annoying.

" Uh, that's not how this works. First, when you have the loot disabled (R2 + Down on PS4), drops still show temporary beams and make sounds. You should still know that loot is dropping. However, ZERO items show on the ground. At all. If "nothing *good*" is showing on the ground, you haven't turned loot off. It's only if *nothing at all* is showing up. Now, these two could be synonymous if your loot filter is set to ultra strict or something like that. If you're actually worried about missing something important, then turn your loot filter sounds back on. | |
Tx 4 reply. All I want is that an accidental R2 + Down on PS4 does not happen ... So if I have my filters placed, I want to disable that combination. If that's not possible because of other code or events, well, then, dayem.
