What a blood awkward build to follow, can't get my HP above 3k. There's no in between items. Either basic stuff or several Ex per item. I was playing the basic version which has no cluster jewels despite being based on Secrets of Suffering. Tried swapping to Low life but the cluster jewels needed don't exist on the market.

you will need some knowledge to find your stuff and not dying, so this guide is not meant to be played by a very new player because it is not tanky (if you invest a lot it can be pretty tanky) and will need some investment to be pleasant to play.
I'm having super fun time playing w/ this build so far, as I said earlier, it's been my first miner character, always was curious about, my dmg seems quite all right currently but I'm pretty sure theres a lot of room for improvements, If some1 could suggest some of them for me I will be grateful
also, it's important to note that I made some very minor changes on my passive tree, invested on some additional AOE nodes, seems helpful, and I dropped AOE gem for controlled destruction instead, also I'm using Inspiration support.
Now I'm also testing High-Impact gem, compared to blast-chain which I was using until now I'm not sure if it's better or not, I need to do some heavy tests to check if it's really worth the change, but from my initial thoughs it fells really good also, specially on bosses.

when I started doing maps my HP also was super low, I was doing maps lv 80+ with less than 3.5k hp, I had to really look forward on some high life equipments to improve my HP on later maps or else I would die a lot.
Now, after many improvements on my equipment I got 4.3k and some ES, still not the value I fell safe to play but better than nothing, lol

If you are playing a life-version of the build (which is what all starters should be), there is no reason to be skipping phase acrobatics.
i just hit 80 with this guide and got my 4 labs done. 1st time playing miner and it is smoother than i expected (with detonate mines on LMB)
how does wicked ward and MoM work for us actually? i mean i know what the skills does, but with skitterbots+infernal+bonechill it's about 50% mana reserved, eHP doesn't really increase that much
Wicked Ward.. does it synergise with something else or is it supposed to be a standalone kinda defence layer?
also, looking for advice on gems actually.. gear wise i have a pretty good idea of how to upgrade but it's the gems that i'm having trouble with. below is my gear.

Firsly, we don't use MoM. You take it because we socket a "Glorious vanity" juste under it so that it is transformed into an other keystone that grants us maximum life as extra ES. If you don't have a Glorious Vanity, don't take this node. Second, you NEED to use Hatred. Linking skitterbots with support is in late game when you got Charisma annoint and reduced hatred mana reserved that you can use 2 supports on skitterbots. Also, for everyone who got problem with mana : annoint "efficient explosives" wich is very cheap. So, you need to use the aura hatred and remove Infernal Legion from your skitterbots.
Also, you need to level up arcane surge to only level 4.
