I'm confused about the fire damage to spells & herald of purity though. In that setup the only spell you would be casting for damage is SRS and that only gets damage from "added X to X damage to minions" and not "added x to x damage to spells" & herald of purity will only summon sentinels if you are hitting/killing yourself not your minions doing it

That seems to be my mistake, i thought the fire damage to spells also applies to SRS. So sadly no useful vendor recipe for us ^^"
But the sentinels from herald of Purity were summoned very frequently, i got the free mana to spent, not sure if there is a better option at this point :)

Still worth testing to see if it improves clearspeed (much more important then improving boss damage) but might be worse then vulrability.

I plugged in 30 to 45 physical damage to minions and on mine only got 8.8% more damage as compared to Vulnerabilies 11.3% more. Poachers mark will have overwhelm but Vulnerability will be getting doom. 20% overwhelm is a good amount so I think poachers would end up as more damage but I don't think by enough to really justify gem swapping

Yeah, for clear speed Vulnerability is definitely the go-to skill (you won't be applying marks to single enemies when clearing).
But for bossing, Poacher's Mark looks very strong. Could be worth swapping gems, at least on maps with Hexproof and/or -Curse Effect mods. Here are some numbers for my almost min-maxed theoretical build (K dps per golem):

This doesn't account for Vulnerability's Doom bonus (but if you care about clear speed you probably won't wait for several seconds for max Doom to build up, right?) and for PM's 20% overwhelm in maps without p.dmg reduction mods, so for bossing it should be almost always at least not worse than Vulnerability. And when you hit bad mods PM's bonus on bosses is huge (up to 60%+ more dmg vs 0% with Vulnerability).
Thinking to try this build in HC Heist.
As I get the build is not supposed to tank heavy phys dmg - shaper's slam, minotaur hits? While ele dmg with 90% or close resistances can be almost ignored.
Am I correct?
Anyone have a link to the correct pob fork for this build?

getting this error

I just copy pasted my actual PoB folder, renamed it and copied the downloaded files into it. Worked fine for me :)
maybe just lazy man mode, use mark for bossing cos the carrion golems already deleting all the white mobs
How long did it take you to get to sirius 8? Thats some crazy gear for a league starter, im guessing you spent a few days farming t10-13 maps?
For the Clarity alternate quality, minions are allies according to the wiki. Just in case you want to update that section of the guide.

I played this build last league.

You are right, the really weak spot in this one is the nearly non existent physical damage mitigation, you have to expect to get onhitted from time to time if your not a godlike dodgemaster in the game :)

If you want to play safer choose the "carryme golem" build. But this also only gets really good if you get the right body armour.
