[3.12] Radiating Carrion Golems. 90% resistances + 10-20 Mil DPS
Comically it was intended as a buff and for most builds it is, but for minion builds that use it with high life minions it's a big nerf. The good thing is it's also flat reservation so easier to fit in at least.

Hey,
i am really looking forward to start the next League with your Carrion Golem Build, i always liked the ways those Golems fight. One question to the leveling of Gems in the off hand, since level 21 seems important to a lot of gems in this build. " People will end up buying lvl 21 versions far more then vaaling their own. I have all important ones listed in the "item purchase order" section of the guide. Minions get more damage and life with levels so all of them would want to be lvl 21 eventually. The more important the minion the higher priority to do this with Pride and dread banner get more from quality then extra levels so you just want them with high quality. 2 of the Purities need to be lvl 21 for extra max resistances. Quality on them as well is nice but more expensive so its lower in the purchase order. Discipline doesn't need quality as we don't really care about its AOE. We do want the extra level though Maim and blood magic supports gain no useful benefit from quality. Leave them at 0% All the other non-awakened support gems in the build you use the lvl 20 gem + 1 gcp recipe to max their quality and then just level them up to max level again. |

Really nice build! I played a variation of it in Harvest and liked it a lot, especially the fact that it has nice defense: max ele res, decent chaos and phys res, etc. Most other builds typically lack one of these. Very happy it almost wasn't nerfed like other Necro builds relying on block from Bone Offering/Glancing Blows, or Divine Flesh for resists. Looking forward for a 3.12 update! Really light patch notes, build almost unchanged.
The lower reservation numbers on Vitality allow us to move vitality into the blood magic gloves setup and drop "pure aptitude" from the build. This allows us to run 4x Replenishing Presence jewels for better aura effect which is nice as those jewels are easier to craft and more aura effect is always good This does mean dropping empower which I'm thinking of swapping for minion life support since our spectres are losing regen and could use 50% more life Not empowering purity of lightning drops max light resist from 90 down to 88 but the extra ES from aura effect should help offset that EDIT: Doryani's Delusion Sorcerer Boots would give us back that 90% lightning resistance and save us a gem slot for another utility gem. It kept being almost better and now I think it will be. Not sure on what the price will be especially early league but endgame version of the build seems to only be getting stronger :) I shall hold off on changing the guide and wait for path of building to update with the new gem info as it means deleting all the "pure aptitude" information but at first look this seems the better option Last edited by WaffleT#6054 on Sep 15, 2020, 11:06:11 PM

Patch notes are out.
Vitality 35% -> 233 mana reservation, 1.65% -> 247 flat regen at lvl 20. For a minion with 30-35k HP this is roughly 50% less regen. Nice bonus regen for the player though. |

Doryani's was a straight upgrade from Sin Trek for me this league, saving that one gem slot is really good considering how socket-starved we are. The only issue is needing to make up for the loss of dex through cluster jewels.
Dropping empower altogether would require a +skill/minion gems wand right? Since we still need Raise Spectre to hit the Level 25 breakpoint. |

" Yeah Doryani's is basically 30 dex (worth about 1 point) & roughly 1 point worth of ES for a gem socket. Depends how much you want that extra socket. Also loses 4% evade chance which is kinda a bummer I'm now less sure about using Doryani's since in the new setup we can't have purity of lightning supported by blood magic. I don't really want to drop generosity attached to dread banner but we can't have the generosity setup in the boots either. The Support zombies and guardian want to be in the helm for +1 So whatever setup you move the gems around to make would mean sacrificing something more to make the change. I was kinda ok with losing +1 spectre to give them 30% more life from the minion life support but we could still use empower in that setup if we wanted the 4th spectre without weapon swapping. we don't have numbers on how much Vitality reserves past lvl 20. It should fit ok for those using Jinxed Juju but the ones using Presence of Chayula have less life so they might need to use a lvl 18 or 19 version of the gem to fit it in which should still be fine |

Should we change our guardian gear to more %hp regen due to Vitality change?
Options i consider: Mask of the Stitched Demon - around 4% regen just for losing little damage or Gruthkul's Pelt 5% regen but lower guardian max hp Or is guardian regen still high enough? |
