[3.12] Radiating Carrion Golems. 90% resistances + 10-20 Mil DPS

Ok guys, I came up with the best solution for Mapping and Single target so far.

Ive done so far only 1 round of conquerors and sirus, but I got this new Sirus at phase 4 down in 3.1 seconds (vs 3.5 seconds average previous method, and 5.0 seconds previous method)

So, the new change is:

Step 1: Remove Minion DMG from Chest > Add Zombies 21/23
Step 2: Now you have a free slot in boots
Step 3: If you have a wand like I do, with trigger, you can equip Flesh Offering, which will make mapping even more pleasant. If not you can add whatever, for example Empower 4 and add +3 levels to your AG so he never again dies.

The numbers are following:

- Before this change I had 11.2 million DMG per golem (4) and 275k DMG per zombie (9)
- That makes 44.8kk + 2.475kk = 47.275kk

When I removed Minion DMG and added Zombies I had:
- 7.5kk per golem + 2.7kk per zombie = 30 + 24.3 = 54.3kk

If you add Flesh Offering you go up to:
- 7.9kk + 2.8kk = 31.6 + 25.2 = 56.8kk

Now, next part. Since I was just testing, I didnt want to recolour my +1 corrupted shav. But once I do another round of test and make sure this is better, I will swap back to 3R 3B, and so I keep Awakened Minion Damage, but remove DMG on Full life (to put zombie in that slot)

That will add another 5-6% MORE DPS into the ecuation.

Beneficts, other than raw single target DPS, are that you have now NINE zombies doing AoE with decent DPS, so the clear feel better.

However, since you can check yourself without recolour with my same method (remove minion dmg to zombies), you can test yourself and share your thoughts.

I have a few more tests and ideas coming, which might push the DMG of the build even further.

In terms of level I made today another 2 rounds of conquerors and Sirus deathless, level 99.71 :)

Good night mates.

PD: In the full round of maps, conquerors and sirus ive done with this testing, did not lose a single zombie (which was one of my concerns before doing the test). Had 2-3 delirium maps hitting 5-3-1 or even 6-4-2 stage.

Thats nice and all but not even close to the 100+ million dps Breken got with all of his minions.

And since both of you seem to be trying to max it out i dont think the price should matter.

Numbers are numbers. Simply sharing with you ALL how to improve your actual build lol. Take it or leave it :D

Need some help....

I've looked at your path of Building numbers for the end game Carrion Golem. You've got like 2.4m Total DPS and I can't figure out how this is so much. I've imported my build and am only getting 750k - about a third of yours. I've gone over the configuration settings and mimicked yours. Can someone review and advise why my DPS is so much lower.

here is the pastebin.... https://pastebin.com/iwH6a623

gear is as follows:

Jewels are as per the suggested setup and res are 90/90/87

any help would be appreciates.

Just added these jewels, but still no where near the DPS you guys are posting...

I think people are just too focused on PoB instead of the game honestly. I phase and kill Sirus so fast on my character that he doesnt even get a single mechanic off, no bull crap spiral mazes or silly laser spams, he comes down from above, gets slapped and goes right back up until my inward crown of dissapointment drops and I exit.

If clearing maps feels slow just throw divergent melee splash support into your 6 link, as ive said everything dies so fast I forget to even swap it out for anomalous damage on full life support the majority of the time.

Just try not to get caught up so much in paper math, just play the thing, if it feels comfortable keep doing it.

I have my character setup to just hold down right click and cyclone at 150% speed through every map, no speed flask, no micro managing, just occasionally click mouse button 4 to mark a boss or annoying proximity shield mob and tab middle mouse click for my taste of hate flask.

I have 11 auras up and running at 309% effect, my spectre does my curse of choice for me and between ravenous horde, 30% minion move speed on a ring, and divergent melee splash I have zero issues with general map clear speed or blighted encounters/maps.

Hey all, what would be better out of the following:

Currently, I have a Carrion Golem at 20/20.

Would it be better to buy a 21/0 golem? Or should I stay with the 20/20? I don't think it's worth buying a 21/20 right now with where I'm currently at.

Thanks for the help!

21/0 is better than 20/20. Definitely get that 21/0

Cheers, thanks for your help!
This is probably a silly question (never made an aura char before) but how do you manage the auras and the skills on buttons? even with qwert and shift+ qwert, and movement bound to left click, and an aura on scroll wheel, i dont have enough buttons to have the auras and the summon skills. Is there a way to add more in UI that i missed?

50 Million dps with clear is probably better for most of what the game throws at you than 100 million single target only. That's why I use melee slash for all content but Sirus these days. Kelzar's setup has quite a bit of promise since the zombies should have enough dps and AOE to clear packs super quickly, and there are 9 of them.

Once you can phase Sirus before he gets a chance to really attack, clear is more important IMO. Although it IS kind of fun to compare PoB numbers.

Edit:

Just ran a couple of Poorjoy's maps (mostly because the mobs had 140%+ extra life.) With the zombie setup, and the melee splash setup. Clear was very similar. The Zombie setup might have had a small advantage in clear when charging into very large groups... That makes sense, since there are 9 of them.

With the golem based melee splash, I could tell when a group got hit, the entire thing just vanished. With the Zombie links, things still died quickly, but took a couple of hits.

My opinion: If you are just chaining normal t16 maps, and want the best clear, try out the zombie links... If you are running 100% delirium maps, or anything with super tanky mobs, the golems still win as you can feel the extra damage.

Either way, try one of the clear setups, either Divergent Melee splash, or Zombies. Makes mapping much smoother.

You can swap out auras on your bar, turn them on, then swap out the aura. It will stay activated.
Is there a preference between the melee splash and the impale versions?
