[3.14] Gryph's Thirsty Archmage Cremation Necromancer
Does the cremation count as consuming a corpse? If not wouldnt it be best to slot something like bone offering in the helm to get the buffs from the ascendency?

" Cremation consumes a corpse, yes. This even deals damage as it's technically an "explosion" that benefits from Archmage and 4% of corpse life. :P |
|
Whats the cremation support gems priority? do you swap gems for bossing, like concentrated effect or lightning pen?

Running this build as ascendant atm. It's a fun skill but definitely have to get used to 2 button spam again! How's it going in rituals? Sometimes I just get overwhelmed too easily in rituals even on white maps..

" If I had to guess it's because you have like no block. One of the big advantages to running Necro is the ability to use Bone Offering to bolster block chance and give life on block. Block is especially effective in content with high mob density such as Simulacrums or, well, Ritual. You're getting overwhelmed because you have no real mitigation to many small hits. |

Hey thanks for the build. It's really smooth. I have a question I guess it's okay to trigger the helmet with cremation. But is it better to trigger it with desecrate? Does it worth the investment of five link gloves and that unique Jewel?
|
|
" Pretty sure I edited this out of the guide (might have missed something lmk) But nah, I'd drop the 5L desecrate setup pure on merits of needing the sockets for other spells like Sigil of Power and Void Sphere. |

Why we are using lightning cluster jewel? am i missing something?

so u are not using the void sphere on trigger? u use it manually?

" Yes. Archmage Support gives massive amounts of lightning damage. Makes up the *vast* majority of our damage. " It's in the trigger wand. |
