I've chosen to stay on SC league and go further with this character as this is my strongest character so far over all the years I was playing casually, I could reach and kill Atziri, Elder and Shaper with this one, so I need to keep upgrading it :) I will review your comments when I find more time, but recently has acquired Soul Taker, so I need to review skill tree and keep trying to find good items that fit, as this became tricky now. |

" Wow, that is amazing to hear! It makes me so happy to receive such feedback, especially from someone who played the original Sunderman build! Lacerman 1 had a lot of these positive feedbacks that I shared in the original post. So I will be adding this to the Settler's League positive comments that now I need to go and create🙂 Unfortunately, due to starting as Beta with low DPS and EHP and improving to these numbers some time after the league started, Lacerman 2 couldn't have the same interest as Lacerman 1 did, at least until now. But Lacerman 2 is much better than Lacerman 1! So I have higher hopes for the next league!🦄 Yeah, item management became a bit trickier than the previous Lacerman build in Dex/Int and resists management. But I had no problems acquiring Meta Gear in less than a month in this league, even though I was brainstorming the whole time by testing a lot of different ideas and items where I had to spend around x2 of the cost of Meta Gear. Hope you don't me asking, currently running this build, feels pretty good despite being a melee character.
At what point in the minimum gear requirement would you say running T16+ maps comfortably in terms of EHP according to your experience? I'm currently at 70% phys DR, all resistances at 75 (chaos is at 73) and have a enduring composure jewel. Spell suppression is still at 60%, so I would assume I should get it at least to 80% asap, since i notice that range spell casters, especially on crit mod maps, still hit pretty hard. Would you say that this is even more important than getting a light of meaning jewel? |

Welcome back, everyone. It's been almost a year, and our Soul Takers are once again ready to take souls!🪓 Before we go, I have to admit that the Settler's League was the first league of Lacerman 2 build, and it couldn't receive enough attention. This was because I started the build as Beta with only 7.72m DPS and 480k EHP on the Meta Gear version. There were videos, but these stats were simply unacceptable, especially when you open a build guide with over 100 pages. While these stats were improved to 24.56m DPS and 780k EHP in 1 month with new videos, it was already too late. In my experience, I have enjoyed playing Lacerman 2 far more than Lacerman 1. While there is a noticeable loss in clear speed, the build has become much tankier and is especially much better at bossing.
Changes: According to the Content Update, the build remains untouched. We have to see the full patch notes, of course. But I will be testing Runegrafts "Gemcraft" and "Bound" on Path of Building when it updates, "Blashempy" also looks promising. One of the first things I will work on is creating a Mercenary build tailored specifically for our build. If they are offensively effective, I will try to create an AoE merc. Unfortunately, I have a lot going on with Path of Exile-related projects at the moment so that I will be starting the league a few days late. However, I will do my best and will keep up with you. You can expect these to be finalized in a very short time after the league's launch. I will then have to check Memory Strands and also find and implement new ways of crafting using the new orbs. I will complete this part sometime after the league starts, so I will be able to present you with a finalized Pob of all crafting changes in a single update, rather than making multiple small updates. Lacerman (Previously Sunderman) build was able to reach its 6th year on 22.05.2025 (Having a 3-year break between 3.15 and 3.24) mainly thanks to you, Lacermen, improving it with your ideas, sharing your experiences, and posting videos of your amazing boss kills or notable runs! Just keep them coming, and Lacerman 2 will become greater and greater, together...🤜🤛 " Nice to hear! I'm not really sure yet. There are no changes to the build in the Content Update, and I need to see Runegrafts after the update on Pob. That seems like pretty much it for now, until we see the patch notes, and until I come up with new crafting ideas using the new orbs and Memory Strands.
