Hey thanks Wrecker! Made a few levels on the curses (7 or 8 I think) and now they have a good range and noob me I can see them work! :) I still have to respec like a quarter of my tree because I switched from Animate Weapon, but the build is already doing good with just so few levels on the gems.

From my limited experience with Poe, I concur that skeletons kick ass. On my other necro zombies are on a 5L and they are good but for killing stuff I always spam my skellies and they do the job. But I play mostly yellow and some reddish map, so I think I am far from understanding how tough the higher levels can be.

I want to say Thank You, so far the build is quite fun and stress free, and I hope I can learn more and more about the game through it.

That's all for now you all have a good day :)
Awesome Giancarloligia! I'm glad the transition has proved to be good for you! I'm glad you're liking the build so much. Hopefully you keep liking it deep in the atlas.

I really appreciate your kind post and for taking the time to be thankful. Thank you.

In order for me:

4 link skeles -> 5 link phantasms -> 5 link zombies

The zombies are last in the damage department (not too much less than the phantasms though). I guess they make up for it in QOL because they never die.

Next league I may change this build slightly to have a 6 link skele just to see how much damage they can really do. The jump in damage from 4 links to 6 links is typically huge for almost any skill.
That's tempting for me every league too AndyLovesHisBge. For sure. 6 link skeletons would cost lots of mana so the tree (and mana reservation) would need to change a little but it'd be worth it. I gotta say though, there's nothing like Cyclone-CWC-SRS-and three supports :).

So based on Grunkle Bob's post about the helmet, I trolled the trade site and found this for really cheap. It seems like I could make some sort of 7 link skeleton set up with this but I am really confused on how Concentrated Effect works with minons (if at all)

I am off to crank out some POB numbers to see what is what. I will inform when I am ready.

Concentrated Effect has value with the Zombie Slams. They are very powerful (and have their cooldown reduced the higher the zombie gem level). Though the cooldown for the Zombie Slam is long, remember that you'll have 9-ish zombies on their own cooldowns. You'll almost always have slams going on.

Sometimes i really despise this game. You die to a stupid beam while you are slowed down to a snail's pace and when you return to the arena - boom, you are in a vortex and die in half a second...

I really hope one day Sirus is deleted from this game. Eternally.
I agree M_atrix! 100%. He's the dumbest boss I've faced in a long time of gaming (any game). I can't tell you how many times I've vented about off-screen damage in my podcast. I hate it.

Hey fellow Slow-mo'ers. So curious with all of the Aura/Curses I'm running at 2% unreserved mana which for me equals 19 mana at this time (I'm level 63). The challenge is if I lose Zombies I cannot resurrect them without unsocketing my blood and sand aura to turn it off or switching one of my curses off. Same goes for my golem. Am I missing something or is this just what I've got to do to run with that much reserved mana.

Thanks!

RSCCCC

Don't you worry. That's the fate of all of us, because we have so much mana reserved. The good news is: The zombies and the golem will hardly ever die once the skill-tree is almost finished.
Hey RSCCCC! Caligula_Exile is correct. Since the goal is for the permanent minions not to die at all, we maximize the build by having permanent "perks" via mana reservation. The only thing you should need mana for is shield charge and/or skeletons (which I really only use the Vaal version which doesn't use mana.

It's a trade-off. Have mana for the possible resurrection or auras.

So just do all your summoning at the beginning of a map. If you and they die, just resurrect them before you turn your auras on before entering a map.

Something for the lolz - I finally managed to get all the desired colours onto the only non-corrupted 6-link body armour that I have found so far in Harvest:

The only "minor" downside is the massive dexterity requirement... "clumsy me", my poor RiotSlut tells me. And she is right, unfortunately. I switched some rings and my gloves just to see how she would look in this sexy leather thing.

Well, decide for yourselves:

I guess need to get the - x % requirement-suffix.
That's my favourite looking chest piece in the game Caligula_Exile! Crazy colours on it!

hey Wrecker, I have been reading through your other guides (incredible stuff across the board, I may try RF this league). I have also been following the current meta and it looks like Specter focused builds are very popular and powerful.

Have you ever given any thought to a specter focused build as it should be able to maintain some of your core beliefs of low button use?

As always, thanks for all the hard work you do.
You're very kind AndyLovesHisBge! Thanks for the encouragement!

Ya, Spectres are nuts. The thing I don't like about them is the awkwardness of them if they die. It's not really a big deal to experienced players...even slightly experienced players. But to "need" and specific type of enemy(ies) for the build to function isn't the kind of guide I like to write.

That obviously doesn't mean they won't be amazing builds or amazing guides. They just are a little too dependent for the style of freedom that I like within my guides. That being said, I haven't seriously considered it since both Desecrate and Spectres had their gem re-works in 3.9.

Take a look at Master of Metal as a Champion. Think of how glorious any physical minion would benefit from that.

Hey Slow Mo'ers

I've got another question. I can't seem to tell if my CWDT is working. I don't see any additional timed bonuses at the top of my screen, but I don't believe desecrate or bone offering would have that. What about Purifying Flame? Also anyone else playing this on a PS4? I frequently have screen lags when I get in a room full of monsters and casting. Sometimes it freezes and crashes - which results in me needing to re-rez my zombies. Just wondering if there are some settings I can change in the video options to make it a bit less video/memory intensive.

Thanks!

RSCCCC
Desecrate and Offerings don't show up in the "buff" list. Desecrate is a skill so it just shows on the ground. Offerings show above your character's head. Purifying Flame will show it's Consecrated Ground in the buff list...IF you're standing in it. Your gem setup is good. So it's likely working and it's just to busy to notice.

I play on Xbox but the consoles can't handle busy too much. My game turns to a slide show the busier things get for sure. But the crashing (as far as I been reading) is Sony specific this time around. We can't really change our settings on console.

I see your point.

Although I think the tough part of the guide is the initial acquiring of the specters not when they die IMO.

GGG fixed the QOL for them when they die to make it VERY simple. You just walk into your hideout, desecrate and your dead specters are waiting for you to raise again.

And that is assuming they ever die :) I still have not lost even one and I am almost level 94.

But I do agree the acquiring of them is tough especially for new players and the hard to find specters.

After a rather successful (and harvess free) run on trade league I decided to do a SSF run instead of quiting the league early.

I already leveled a generic zombie necro and currently doing white maps on garbage gear

This build and specifically M_atrix version of it gives me something to work towards for the long run

Hoping for some good RNG drops. Pray for Mittens
