Is Empower the best 6th gem if you're not going Meat Shield?
Hey subliminaldelta! Best? No Clue. But since it raises the level of all linked gems, a level 4 wouldn't be scoffed at whether it's best or not. I think it'd be an awesome addition.

Actually not all linked gems, but active skill ones (support gems are not active skill gems). So it benefits only zombies. And still it's super powerful. Especially at lvl4.

Just a quick note, Empower only raises the levels of active skill gems, it won't raise the level of the support gems that are linked to it.
Thanks for catching my mistake! I have no clue what I was thinking there but good job correcting it.

Is using 3 kitava heralds is not really good for the build? I'm using 3 kitava rn

there are a ton of choices and I am not sure there is any one right or wrong choice.

The Kitava Heralds are very strong damage specters. But they don't do anything for the rest of your minions.

The Carnage Ape is basically useless when fighting but he gives a HUGE buff to your other minions in the form of Frenzy charges.

You kind of just need to experiment to see what you like and what works best for your play style.

Do you guys remember when you were kids, and you would play fight with you older brother and every so often he would hit you hard and you would be like "hey no fair!"

That was all I could think of when I tried my first map that had the mod "Monsters are Hex Proof" :)

ha ha! Awesome AndyLovesHisBge!

i'm starting maps today, serious things, so i think i'll be back in very few times with lots of questions :)
Awesome pat_hibulaire! I'm glad. It's good to take the time to figure things out. You learn faster than assuming things. Good job! Good luck mapping! Ask as much as you like.

I totally forgot that resummoning skellies counts as death so yeah that notable on that cluster jewel is awesome.

I asked about this on reddit.

The answer I got was that if you summon a skeleton when you are already at max skeletons, the oldest skeletons will be replaced with the new ones but the old ones don't die, they just de-spawn.

Even if this is true, it does not matter too much as the phantasms are constantly dying and respawning, which procs the cluster notable.

I have been doing tier 14-15 maps all day and have not seen my zombies lose any health and I don't even bother with minion life in my zombie gems and I even removed a minion life wheel from my tree. The cluster jewel looks like it is working fantastic.
Correct. Replacing duration minions does not count as them dying (Minion Instability is a good way to test that). I haven't bothered testing it with Zombies though. I think they die upon replacement...not sure.

So far I enjoyed the build. Am lvl 67 now and wanted to start mapping, but hardly made it through a white T2 map...

Resists are at 73/75/75/51
Life 2800
Shield 460

Are you guys squishy as well?
I'm glad you're enjoying the build Penecho83! Squishy depends on a million factors. So depending on where you've gone on the tree...at some point, you'll have 175% life on the tree with a ton of different damage mitigation. Awesome job with your Chaos Resist! I wish I had that. My guess is that 2800 life isn't too much. But that will improve with the grind. The other mitigations, if they haven't already will really pick up. The only thing that Enfeeble doesn't mitigate is damage that doesn't come from an enemy. So something like exploding corpses and such. Those can be a surprise.

I know that doesn't really answer your question but I hope it helps.

Stumbled onto your build guide by accident and loving it. You really help me simplify things as I was getting a headache and zoning out when reading other guides.

2 Questions please if you don't mind.

1 - What or which gem is assigned to your button "A". I am playing on PC and cannot seem to find the corresponding skill gem icon.

2 - As I am deviating slightly for your guide, I tend to use uniques as it is less taxing for me to think, if I purchase a pair of Asenath's Gentle Touch, what do you recommend for the empty slot? I was thinking of holy relic as it is a minion buff, does not reserve mana?

Again thanks for the build guide.
Awesome CrabCanc3r! I'm glad the guide suits you so well and that you've found it helpful. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know :). If you don't mind me asking, how did you stumble upon the guide?

I think I saw someone answer it already, but my A button on console is the skill we get from an ascendancy node, Bone Armour. It's an Instant skill which means it has no cast time. So it's a convenient button to use in conjunction with the "pick up stuff" button.

Dang. Those gloves are cool. I haven't seen those before. Holy Relic is awesome, but you have to Hit with an Attack for it to be helpful. Maybe Arctic Armour? Vitality (it's weak but it works) maybe? Tough call. I'd go with something that reserves mana. If you add something like Culling Strike, the linked skill needs to Hit.

Good questions and thanks again for the kind words!

Hey Hansen_Haryono! Don't worry about Noob or experienced! The nice thing about Spectres is that there are SO many different options, that you can't go wrong. Your Kitava Heralds work perfectly with the build. They are pure physical, hit hard, have a good health pool, and have both a close and ranged hit. It's personal preference to go with support or aggressive minions. Go with what you're comfortable with. Remember that a lot of discussions are theory crafting. Most of the time people will be correct, but sometimes they may be incorrect. So do what makes you smile and then you don't have to worry about Min/max'ing.

There's nothing wrong with trying out other people's ideas too. You might like them more than your own choices. But if it's overwhelming, leave it until it's not.

Good job asking!

If one is using Shield Charge to proc Fortify, it will also proc Holy Relic at the same time.
