Hey there, i started an Coc Icenova Assasin following this guide by Esoro, a youtuber with 50k and like a million views on the video.

so far so good.. i copied this as good as possible on Xbox (should be realy close )and well, all it does is dying dying dying. Mostly you get down normal map bosses but never deathless and you dont need even try to kill any Guardians or Elder etc.
To be honest it feels like even if you would double your damage that wouldn be enouth.

Since the Videocreator is not replying i gonna try my luck here.. maybe someone could help me out to get it fixed?
iam realy frustrated right now since every god damn build i ever tried to copy ends up like this. Tons of Exalts and Time wasted to get something that is not enjoyable.
Btw: did you guys make the same Expierences using Buildguides?

The biggest problem you have is that your elemental resists (fire, cold, and lightning resistances) are not capped (75%) This game is balanced around 75% elemental resistances. Get more elemental resists from your gear. If you cannot cap elemental resists by improving your gear, consider using purity of elements instead of herald of ice until you find good gear.
That said, coc builds are not the best starter build. It might be a good idea to find more starter-friendly build.

I would not say stupid, just a newbie. Esoro is one of the best build makers. His builds are gold.

A newbie? Dude, i have like 4000 hours in this Game and made lot of working builds my self. Theres 2 possibilitys 1) I get something wrong > Stupid or This guide just sucks.

Of course my Resistances are Capped. I just posted the POb with the wrong boots on. And iam not a starter or on a budget or what ever. To be honest iam starting to get a little bit angry since evryone i tell about my problem is telling me iam a newb and bad and what ever but realy nobody can tell me what iam doing wrong.

you are not the first person that has problems with that mentioned guide and surviabillity.
There are better guids ou there

Well let me Update this a little:
In the meanwhile i handled it to kill most Guardians and well Shaper(i could kill him naked proably) but still iam dying over and over again to normal map bosses and unique monsters etc. The build is still far away from beeing confortable.
Idk... i still think that video is tricking people. It shows you the Easy shit and fights when things go well (lucky evades and crit) but what i doesnt show is the reality. And thats what many of this guides are doing.

Yea not the first one , there are many but still for some people it seems to work fine?... jeez this is so frustrating :D Can you recommend any guide? Maybe one that ends up in a working charakter if you just follow the words?

You have 26 fire res. There's no amount of guidance that can save you if you've played for "4000 hours" and still don't know to cap resists.
The PoB you linked for the guide uses Wise Oak to cap their resists, which you don't use.

I just had a wrong item on when i created the pob link. Of course i have caped my resistances. This oak thing is optinal and not more then a little bonus. It wont change the world.
