Hey, as I'm sure you're aware Ziz is playing a build similar to yours right now, and he just rerolled Occultist, thinking it's much better. Here are his thoughts on the matter (short clip on Occultist va Assassin): https://clips.twitch.tv/OpenProudSmoothieDxAbomb
Keep in mind he was talking in general and not just for SSF.

A lot of high ranked players are also saying Occultist is much better on this patch for this build.

I know you already briefly expressed your opinion on the matter in your OP, but what do you think of Ziz explanation? He seems to strongly disagree with you.

Assassin gets nothing, Occultist gets 'things' !

Sadly this is the opposite of presice and he doesn't offer anything to back up the argument :(

'Nothing' from assassin is roughly double dmg vs bosses, getting elusive boots seems good if u dont argue about what you are losing (50% elemental avoidance).
Stun immunity is something u can get from jewel enchants now without sacrificing gear efficiency.
I can go on, like starting points of both classes etc which are not even mentioned.

I did 2 side by side analysis of similar geared occultist/assassins before arriving to the conclusion. At this point if some1 is gonna say the world is flat i would at least need a picture :D

For the ladder, it is normal to see multiple level 100 occultists atm. As i mentioned occultist has a slight edge early on, which makes it appealing to anyone who is rushing early Level 100, esp if u are in a party with support.

Hello, I'm planning to try to fix my wand by first removing speed, then remove/add lightning and if lucky hit a good prefix, else get a suffix that can be removed safely. Is there any better way to do this?

i assume u mean remove non lightning/add lightning to get rid of mana, if so yes that would be the most efficient way

is it better to keep spamming keep suffix to get the 35%, or just augment def, and add/rem def?

i believe aug defense will be the relatively easy way out. if u wish to push ofc then reroll until 35 effect first

awesome guide, awesome build - really like it.
currently sitting around ~1100 INT and its feeling good. Still a lot of todo for this toon.

What I don't get right now:
How do you play reflect maps (Scion/Assassin) or atziri for example? :D
