Sure, it work with corpses from monsters, but that is not the point in my test. The point is how many corpses we can make w/ or w/o Awakened SC.
For my testing i looked how many Volatile Dead i spawn from the corpses on first trigger with Spellcascade or Awakened Spellcascade linked to Desecrate.
My result is that i spawn roughly 8-9 with a normal Spellcascade while i can spawn consistently 12 Volatile Dead with the first cast on Awakened Spellcascade. Dunno if RNG but that observation is my reason to use 2* Awakened Spellcascade.

i tested by removing spellslinger, bone offering, DD. Self-cast desecrate one time and then consume all copses with VD untill no corpse on the ground. In both case w/ and w/o Awakened SC bring the same number of VD balls.

Depends on how much currency you have to burn.
I did Belt>Boots>Wand>Helmet. Because I am a poor person.
Helmet seems to be the Biggest increase in DPS without question. but just the base is 13Ex I think I spent 20-25 ex making mine and its not done
Boots and Belt are easier but still pretty expensive. I think 3 Maven orbs minimum for those, plus crafting the base items.
Gloves are great Quality of life with the Cull and unnerve and relatively cheap to craft.
Wand seems easiest but I'm not finished with mine either.. I got +1 all spell fracture on 1st try and figured id use that plus a essence with flat fire damage. again I am a peasant.
all my crafting was done multiple days per item with lots of sells of other stuff to cover the cost.
So basically Cost
Gloves
Wand
Belt
Boots
Helm
Importance
Helm(huge DPS)
wand(Dps and Survivability)
Belt(CDR and Flask uptime)
Boots(CDR,Freeze immune(Maybe Tailwind and MS)
Gloves(DPS)
[Boots and Belt can swap position on importance if you find yourself out of flask and frozen but a freeze immune flask with sufficient flask uptime works imo and the Belt is cheaper than the Boots if you go for MS and Tailwind.]
This is just my opinion others may disagree
Don't even wanna know what you call me if you're a peasant haha

For me its 12 Volatile Dead on average (Descecrate on Awakened Spellcascade triggered in the setup) vs 8-9 Volatile Dead (Descecrate on Spellcascade triggered in same setup). I can make video if you need proof. It might be RNG or maybe some ping issue dontk now. If you can run Desecrate with normal Spellcascade then its fine i guess.
Edit just did some recording to visualize my testing:
Awakened Spellcascade triggered Volatile Dead count 15:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Ext3qobDQ
Spellcascade triggered Volatile Dead count 9:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSZtXSArHrw
The numbers vary slightly on each try but so far i witnessed far more Volatile Dead spawns with Awakened Spellcascade linked to Desecrate.
So yeah based on this i think everybody really needs 2* Awakened Spell Cascade

Guys, I was wondering about boots, wanna start crafting them but I'm really debating between going CDR/Speed/Tailwind.
I know OP's boots have no movement speed, just CDR, but it it really fine not going for any movement speed? I guess it doesnt matter if you're going for 100% delirium, but what about general mapping? If I wanted to run some maps for harvest, don't we miss MS/tailwind? Would really like to hear someone's opinion who tried both.

Personally, I use this build solely for 100% delirium / sirus / simulacrum.
It's not a fast mapper. I have another build for speed mapping.
So MS is not important if you want this for a super juiced map killer.
My play style is to steamroll everything until the map is clear, then change boots to seven league step, 2 x screaming eagle, karui ward amulet.
Gives tons of movespeed to zip around and pick up everything.

lol maybe I have unrealistic standards of wealth I generally never have more than 10 ex in liquid currency, If I do its spent immediately.
Mostly due to me making 5+ alts or chaos spamming jewels and wands and basically anything I find when I'm bored.
But I do have quite a few money making methods at my disposal if I need it.

I have 30ms Elevated tailwind CDR boots.. I still feel slow walking. most of my movement comes from Flamedash. I really don't think its required but it feels soo bad without any especially in H/O that I just couldn't do it.

Dont know how you made your test, but i just think if you dont remove spellslinger/DD/bone offering, we totally cant see what happened bcuz maybe you made more than one cast when you fire frenzy, or we dont know how many corpses consumed to VD or DD, or ping issue. So, in my opinion, we only test on 1-time desecrate and count how many corpses was made.

Check the videos of my edit. I tested it one time all i did was replace cascade and awakened cascade.
I can remove bone offering too if neccessary.
Why remove DD though? Its part of the complete setup. I can try when im back from work if this makes any difference.
