MikeD I reread your question and I understand it now. You have "Self-Control" on your medium cluster jewel which is reducing your mana reservation for Discipline, which is making your reserved life% too low to trigger low life. Replace that jewel with one without Self-Control and you'll be good.

Personal preference. Crit = more damage, 3% regen = easier to ignore bleeds and poison.

You're using two reduced mana reservation Circle of Anguish rings. This reduces the life reservation of Herald of Ash. Replace one and you'll be fine.

So im kinda in the same boat here. Im not using any mana res on my anguish rings and i have the helm enchant but im only getting 68% life reserve and im missing the 30% buff to low life. ive changed around ash to gloves linked with Blood and it just wont work. i always dont have either enough life to cast anger or mana. only thing i dont have is the extra +2 aura on the shield, but i dont see how that would effect my life reserve when the gem reserve is fixed and doesnt change. idk i cant figure it out. ive got the gear almost identical, just cant get my life below the 30%. 282/1178 with 802 reserved.

Tried adding mana to items but no matter what i seem to be either 20 life short or 17-20 mana short. -.-

ended up taking off spell cascade and now im within the limits /shrug

Hi, i'm thinking about transitioning to this build but i feel that i lack a good wand because all other pieces of gear can be budget here and there. I've made a wand today alt + regaling but i'm not sure how good it would be or if any good for this build. I need some advice, thanks.
would this be so much worst compared to a added fire wand?

Redshadow the lowlife threshold is 35% so you're good at 32%.
