Hi,

Another question. I am trying to reduce the number of button to use (playing on PS4). When I link CWDT to Molten Shell, do I have to link increased duration as well? Like, all the 3 on my weapon?

Yes it has to be linked to increase the duration of Molten Shell, personally I run Molten Shell on my run button (Left Click) Not sure how that would work for console however.

Binding anything on the "default" action button on console, kind of screw up things... Like you can't interact (consistently) with NPC in town, and stuff like that. :(

Moreover, I have to unbind / rebind 2 skills each time I do mining sessions (for flares and dynamite). Hence the "need" to reduce the number of button pressed.

I was playing in POB with similar ones and it is a damage increase, but not much for the cost increase of a 12ex weapon over two 10c weapons.

However, the idea of the 6l cyclone option that would open up sounds interesting IMO. Cyclone, fortify, cwc, vulnerability, punishment, flesh offering. Not sure how the Mana cost of 6l cyclone could be supported though. Maybe continue to manually cast flesh offering and instead use blood magic as 6th link?


That was my impressions too, a bit more damage, but mostly just Fortify buff for a 10-12ex investment..

Guys I'm running Brass Dome obviously, but what do you think about Craiceanns Carapace as an alternative?

After testing it in PoB, it looks like a good alternative but

- loose about half armour
- gain about 300 life
- getting the same amount of physical daamge reduction (-armour but +flat phys reduction, so equivalent)
- Need to grab some reduce mana reserved skill nodes/jewels/mods cause aspect of the crab is an aura that needs to be activated to get the 10% phys dmg reduction

I don't know out it feels in game, but from PoB, it looks like it give pretty much the same defenses, but cost mana.

You also lose "take no extra damage from critical strikes" which might make the +crit maps a little scary with only ~4.5 - 5k life. And the reduced amount of armour means a smaller molten shell.

I think I'm gonna try summoner build for the first time with this one. I got couple of noob questions, sorry if I overlooked something:
- The guide suggests 2 curses in the curse on hit setup, how do we adjust curse limit?
- Can we use Bane instead of curse on hit?

You won't be phys capped with CC, so you need to drop pride and run determination to make up the difference.

Sure, but you need to run a CoH if you plan to go Beacon of Ruin to get 15% shock
