[3.11] CoC Ball Lightning Assassin - 20M+ Shaper DPS/10k ES/fortify - League Starter Guide Included

T2 light as extra chaos, i've hit shaper mod elemental penetration T3 and T2 wich is approximately the same. Not sure if i should farm more currency trying to reach any offensive T1 or settle with that.

If you haven't optimized your other gear, I would stop here for now. It is very easy to spend tons of currency trying to metacraft the weapon given the number of mods the roll on sceptres. Plus the Shaper base probably adds more unwanted mods that dilutes your probability.

If you want to go for GG sceptre, I'd recommend starting with a non-influenced base and slamming a Crusader orb for prefix. Even if you miss, Crusader adds a higher proportion of useful damage prefixes for when you're metacrafting.

Honestly I am strugglich with Sirus as well. I have to say, however, that I am generally not very good with elaborated boss fights (getting old :p).

The first three phases are ofc a joke. The last phase apparently got more difficult because he regens more now.

The thing is, I can easily do Sirus deathless with my Max Block Gladiator, however he has much less ehp. What usually kills me on this build is the second beam after "Feel the thrill of the void." The latter I can dodge, but then I often die. My guess is that I circumvent that on the Gladiator with a self cast Molten Shell which takes care of the second beam. I still don't even fully understand, why the Sirus fight feels so hard.
One reason apparently is, that I usually do it with the Gladiator and only take this build, when there is not much exp I can lose, so partly it is probably just a lack of experience. I generally don't play the fight as calmly as on my other build.
Another apparent and general reason is that our main source of sutain, es on hit, doesn't help us much and at least I usually die from one shots.

But Noesy is absolutely right. With 400k+ damage per ball, it is most likely the best idea to just drop some damage and go for 12k+ ES.

Thanks for the awesome build! I only started playing this league, but this is the most fun out of all of the builds that I've tried by far! I'm having an issue where my ES leech appears to be going down with a weapon that has far higher DPS. Running similar maps with the new weapon and old weapon back to back has me dealing clearly less damage with the old one, but also far more able to facetank things with it.

Here's my pastebin: https://pastebin.com/fafahsZ9

This is the new Weapon: https://imgur.com/MYrLHR3

This is the old Weapon: https://imgur.com/sEElPur

and here's my attempt at the DPS calculation showing the new weapon to be about 10% better: https://imgur.com/c3UpAgt

I am at 22% CDR, so my understanding is that I should be attacking optimally at 7.56 / s which is what the new one says I'm at in POB.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You forgot 15% increased attack speed while elusive. Your attack rate is too high at the moment.

In my opinion this build is totaly fine for deathless Sirus A8, this is the most tanky build i played, i've saw a lot of people dying during random map or Simulacrum this league when i play in party when i was feeling perfectly safe with your build.

Yeah I did Sirus several times even at level 99, when I was leveling to 100. I didn't die even once. With good gear and experience, this fight becomes trivial. But the problem is that 1) ES on hit is not effective in this fight because you have little time window to hit Sirus and 2) Die beam can one-shot you. I want to fix these problems in the future.

Yep, that is absolutely what I did. So, it seems like either I need to somehow get up to the 52% CDR between belt and boots, or get a different weapon long-term? For now, I just removed the Onslaught flask and tossed a Dying sun in there, which seemed to make a difference in map clear. Do you think Atziri's would be better? Is there something obvious that I could do that would be better? I have about 20ex right now. Thanks for the reply!

Got these boots by fossil crafting.
Not sure if I should sell them like that or using an annulment orb in hope to delete the low movement speed...
Hi guys,

is it worth to multimod this sceptre with spell dmg and hits can't be evaded? I still have imprints of this sceptre with +1 light gems and crit multi

You are right, you should find another sceptre or get 52% CDR.
The best flask would be The Wise Oak if your uncapped lightning res is the hightest. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

In order to use tailwind in this build, you will most likely need 52% CDR, as you can very easily exceed 7.56 aps breakpoint with tailwind.
Thus, my suggestion is:
1) Annul. If you remove the movement speed, sell it.
2) If you remove tailwind, well, F.
3) If you remove something else, use it as a base for awakener's orb craft (tailwind + CDR).

I don't think +1 to lightning or crit multi is the best mod for this build. Thus, you cannot craft a godly sceptre from your imprint.

If you are aiming for 6.06 or 7.56 aps, this sceptre would be pretty good. On the other hand, this sceptre is not good for people who have 52% CDR.
Played the older mjolnier version of this, will definitely give this a try as well. At the start you mentioned being able to play this as MF, what gear swaps do you do for this? Just throw on a bisco neck and goldwyrm?

Two Ventor's Gambles and goldwyrm.
